  1. I called a Celebrity agent yesterday concerning the extra charge for the "free" drink package. She stated that on October 10, 2019 the $14/day per person would go into effect. If you booked before this date, you will not be charged any more for the "free" drink package. The new charge will show in the summary of charges. I am not sure why this is being done since the word "FREE" makes it so misleading. Other cruise lines are incorporating this in their agendas as well. Luckily we were already booked since last year. If any cruise line in the future does this deceptive practice, we will more than likely consider other fun ways to travel. However, we have been truly blessed with Celebrity in the past.

  2. Again, thank you vtcruising for the great info and feedback. We, too, are looking forward to experiencing how this revolutionized Silhouette will be next March 2020. Out of all the cruise lines family and friends have experienced, most all came to the conclusion of preferring Celebrity. Thanks again!

  3. WOW!!! This is extremely informative and fun to read. I appreciate you sharing your "diamond-mine find" of info and photos. I have not looked and read it all yet, but definitely will by this weekend.

Again, kudos to you for sharing this exceptional information!!! Thank you for your time and sharing nature.........

  4. Does anyone who frequents Celebrity Cruise Line know what the "revolutionized" means? Especially wanting more information on the upcoming Silhouette. I realize new areas may be revamped/created. However, do all the common areas and cabins get refurbished?? Thanks for any information you can share.

  5. We are looking at the Silhouette "revolutionized." Thanks for the above information.  It is very helpful.

I guess the question we have is: When are the regular suites, verandas, cabins redone if not when "revolutionized"?? Ex: carpeting/flooring, etc..

  6. Does anyone know how was embarkation for the March 30, 2019 epic cruise?

Disembarkation for the April 6, 2019 return cruise to Port Canaveral?

I guess we are just trying to figure out if NCL epic has a functional grasp of directing/handling thousands of passengers.

    Thanks for your feedback.

  8. We booked our cruise for four, side-by-side balconies almost a year ago for April 2019. Unfortunately after I used numerous communication areas, I found that NCL's policy is not to allow the partition to be opened on the balconies. I even called NCL and a representative stated it is a "fire" hazard. That gave me a chuckle.  I was going to open them up myself until I read that there is no latch or clip-device to hold the metal partition open and secure. Now this IS a potential hazard if a gust or rogue wave/wind were to blow the metal partition into someone. And realize that a chair, etc. would not be sufficient to keep them open in such an event. Sad that NCL could not place a proper latch/clip to allow them to be opened up. Really wanted our balconies opened up. Will do more thorough research before required total payment day arrives. LOL We will still make the best of this cruise.

  9. Well, it looks like the epic left at their designated time today, March 30, 2019. Really glad to see that on the port webcam. Does anyone know how disembarkation went this morning from the previous cruise and how the embarkation of today's new passengers went. Hopes are that NCL now has a handle on guiding the large number of passengers leaving and coming on as referenced by earlier comments. Thanks.

  10. I called reservations and they graciously booked all reservation-required shows and specialty meal day/times on the phone. Going on the 4/13/19 epic cruise. I strongly suggest you get an idea of what you want to attend before calling and try to do it as soon as you can.

The tips from Paelos are extremely helpful.

  11. Thank you for the communication information.

The epic ship again (March 23, 2019) is still (6:30pm) in port canaveral when it was to depart at 4pm. Does anyone know what is preventing this ship from departing when scheduled and if this has affected earlier boarding times? Thanks again.

  12. The NCL epic has had some negative moments this year. Does anyone know why the epic ship was so delayed in leaving port canaveral last March 16, 2019? Really hoping that the problems it has had are being remedied quickly. We are set to voyage with them next April. If the epic had delays, the question is:  when and how did NCL contact you?

    Thanks for any feedback.
