  1. Just to let you know RCCL replied within the given period to confirm that our vouchers were valid after all. We booked our cruise the same night and will be cruising withthe Harmony next year august from Galveston. Thanks for the replies. I appreciate it.
  2. Dear cruisers, I need some advice regarding vouchers from the Covid-period. I hope someone can help me with this matter. We are a family of 4 from The Netherlands with two teenage boys. Last time we cruised was in 2019 but due to covid our planned cruises were cancelled. We received 4 vouchers for 250 dollars each by email. Apparently the dates of the validation were changed and we contacted RCCL by email and twitter in 2022. In the conversation on twitter RCCL confirmed that these vouchers validations were changed to the year 2099. This is clearly stated in the communications. Due to health we were not able to cruise any sooner then coming year. We contacted RCCL by phone to confirm the validation before booking as we know that we cant use these for the down payment. After giving all the codes we were told that these were not valid anymore which is strange as we got the confirmation on twitter that these were valid till 2099. Unfortunately RCCL never send us the new vouchers despite us asking for it twice which can all be seen in the conversation. The status is that I have spoken to several people at RCCL and after explaining the matter everytime I get transfered to a new department where I can explain once more the situation. After which they tell me the vouchers are not valid anymore again. The last lady even read from the conversations on twitter confirming we communicated through twitter regarding the expiration date of the vouchers...... After I gave her the date and time of the message in this conversation where she could find the confirmation by her colleague she told me suddenly that RCCL simply didnt communicate through twitter. I was left completely gobsmacked on the phone. Now we know that customer relations hasnt improved over the last few year in the travelindustry which I experienced with prieline two years back costing me hundreds of dollars due to them just ignoring me and breaking up contact during several comversations I wasnt expecting this from RCCL. Can anyone help me out with the tip to settle this? I would really appreciate the time and effort. Have a great day
