  1. I cancelled our 9/5 at the beginning of August and was offered choice of full refund, FCC or price match to the same cruise next year.  We chose price match, but it took six weeks, 6 phone calls and finally getting someone to put me thru to customer relations to get that taken care of.

Be ready for at least 30 minutes on hold to speak to someone and lots of emails that look like you are still cruising to come thru automatically.

I actually got a cancellation notice that showed that I forfeited 75% of my fare on 09/06, which I think finally got someone to get me thru to customer relations.  Everyone was really nice on the phone, but it took 2.5 hours on 09/08 to get it rebooked and price matched.

  2. On hold for 34 minutes, which has been faster than the other calls I have made.

The Customer service person I talked to said that we would get only 50% back (we're on 9/5) and 75% penalty by 8/8.  No refund for protection plan charges or the port charges at all.   I want to know how people are getting 100% back.  She also had no idea on the excursions.  She said she would fill out a form asking for penalty abatement, but that would cancel our cruise and would have no idea how much we would get back until they cancelled and emailed me. Arggggg!

She said you could get the test on Thurs for Sunday sailing.
