  1. My family of 8 (2 sets of grandparents, kids ages 4 and 2, and us) will be in Nassau for a day end of May. I've researched some things to do and have come up with the below list of things that would work for my family. My question is, should I hire a tour to take us so we have the car seats and transportation taken care of? It is expensive at almost $80 per hour for the tour company I contacted. If I do everything listed below from Zoo to boat tour, it would probably take 6-7 hours, that's $480 for transport + extra costs for zoo and glassbottom boat tour. Is that the best option I have? Would you try to do the below itinerary yourself by taking public transport? Any other suggestions? Thank you!

    1. Ardastra Zoo and Garden

    2. Fort Fincastle

    3. Fish Fry and area for lunch

    4. Bahamian candy store

    5. Bahama Art & Handicraft

    6. Glassbottom boat tour

  2. When I checked in for our cruise, the earliest arrival time I can pick is 11:30am. If we get there around 9:30 or 10, do you think we will have to wait long to get on board? We’re arriving early because 2 people are flying in and they will be at the port early. 6 of us are Gold members but 2 grandparents are not. Will the 2 be able to come aboard w us instead of a separate line? Thank you.

  3. I'm sailing on the Anthem of the Seas with 2 other sets of people. I have all 3 reservations linked online and have booked shows and restaurants for everyone. Some shows are at different times for different people. Is there a way to view all 3 reservations' calendars on the Royal app or the Royal IQ app? On the Royal app, I can pick the different reservations and view the calendars individually. The Royal IQ app doesn't work right now, probably because I'm not on the ship yet?

  4. Has anyone cruised on the Anthem with the Zoe double side by side? It's supposed to be very lightweight and relatively narrow at 29" in width. We will have a 3 year old and a 1 year old so looking to bring the stroller with us. But unsure if it'll be more of a hassle. We also would like to use it while we're docked in Bermuda. Any thoughts?

  5. I'm trying to figure out the best way to get from Dockyard to Crystal Cave for our group of 8. Our group includes 4 seniors age 55-70 and 2 young kids ages 3 and 1. I know I can take the ferry from Dockyard to Hamilton (25min) and then take the bus (40 min) for a total of ~1 hour travel time. But since we have 2 young kids, we'd really like to minimize our travel time. Is there another way for us to get there? Could I arrange for a private minibus or taxi ahead of time and how much and how long would the ride be usually? I also checked the calendar, there will be 2 cruises (including ours) docked during the days we're there on 9/23 and 9/24 so I feel like the ferry and buses will be at max capacity and we will likely have to wait a lot so I want to avoid all that with kids. Thanks in advance.

  6. How easy is it to get a taxi for 6 adults and 2 kids (age 3 and 1) at Kings Wharf and then throughout Bermuda? Everything I’ve read has said there are taxis for 4 or 7 people. I wonder if the 7 people taxi would fit our party? And if they’re readily available at the taxi zone or should we call a particular taxi service and arrange ahead of time. Any service you recommend for prearranging taxis? We will need a few taxi rides as I plan to go to Hamilton, St George’s, and Horseshoe Bay over a 1 night dock stay. Note I’m not looking for taxi tours, simply taxi transport. I plan to do my own research and explore the places on our own time as our party is large and unwieldy w 2 kids. Any other suggestions welcomed. Thanks!
