General Comments:
All bids are still pending. Doing a mock booking shows 20 Sky Suites available and 4 Celebrity Suites. I didn't count the Aqua rooms as there were a lot available. I know they have until a few days before sailing to accept or reject but I've seen other bids for later cruises accepted for the minimum bid. I really want the suite upgrade but I'm not holding my breath. Did anyone else wait this long to hear back?

I'm sorry. This gadget will go in the basement along with my travel iron and travel steamer. I promise.
@JacJacAttack Do you guys have anything booked? Fingers crossed my usual group is doing b2b Equinox 1/30 and 2/11/22. I'm holding my breathe. Until then I follow along live from blogs to get my fix.
Sorry folks - off topic. Jackie and I got kicked off the Reflection on March 17th, 2020 when cruising came to a full stop and the pandemic became very real for us. What a wonderful 4 days we had in that pampered bubble. That was the last time I trully felt completely safe.
Mary
Well, Celebrity brought the naughty room to us when we missed the ship because of weather related flight cancellations. (This is why I will ALWAYS book my flights through Celebrity.) I think they took pity on us walking a mile through Costa Maya with our luggage to get on board.
We have a 12 night booked for March 13 2022. (The same itinerary that Jim and Iain are doing now!) We will (hopefully) board the Equinox exactly 2 years to the day that we boarded the Reflection on that last cruise to no where. I agree with you, Mary, that Reflection bubble made us feel perfectly safe until it all came crashing down around us when we got back to port.
Sorry for the interruption, Jim! Oh, but if you like Patricia Cornwell books, I find Tami Hoag to be comparable and I just finished up the DD Warren series by Lisa Gardner which was great!

Last April (Easter weekend) we had horrible weather starting on Wednesday of that week. There were tornado warnings up and down the east coast. It caused almost 6000 flights delays and almost 2000 cancellations and then you had the ripple effect of equipment not being where it needed to be and crews that needed to be swapped out. So our original Friday flights were canceled. (ship was leaving Saturday afternoon from Miami) They rebooked us on a Saturday morning flight. That got canceled. Unfortunately at that point there were no flights getting us to the ship in time so they arranged to fly us to Cancun, put us up in a hotel for 3 nights and then catch us up to the ship in Costa Maya. However, all we had to do was reach out to the emergency travel team and they handled it all for us. They have the ability of switching up airlines too. Our original flight was American, our rebooked flight that was also canceled was JetBlue and we wound up on Delta to Cancun. There was no additional cost to us and we weren't the ones doing the legwork to figure it all out.
Worth it's weight in gold to us.

I've only booked with Celebrity twice (our second sailing is coming up in less than a month!) but I know from personal experience that every time that I've called Celebrity with ANY change (fare reduction, making a payment, adding port transfers etc...) that I am sent an email with my updated booking and asked to check and review it before I get off the phone. Also, it has happened a couple of times there was a delay or lag (Thanks, Celebrity IT) and I'm told I should receive it in X amount of time and if I don't receive it by then to please contact them and let me know so they can resend it.
If I were you I'd be calling back for clarification on the NRD/rebooking AND inquiring about my reservation # and guest booking email.
Good luck!

Following along...this is for the Ultimate Caribbean itinerary, correct?
We are doing this itinerary in March and it's our first time on the Reflection so we're very interested in your observations and experiences!

First Time Suite Questions
in Celebrity Cruises

We just got off the Equinox on Friday, 3/25 and Connor and Laura were the Retreat Concierges and they were AMAZING. I do know that Connor said he was headed to the Apex soon-ish. We told him we hoped he gets to the Beyond for our 2024 cruise. Joyce was the Retreat Lounge bartender and she was an absolute gem. We found ourselves headed to the Retreat Lounge for after dinner drinks with Joyce.
