You need to bring your own or buy what you need from the vending machine in the laundry room.

Thanks everyone. I figured I would get the pods just in case. Just trying to fit everything into the luggage. Some ships use liquid dispensers. I am happy they have self serve laundry, so many cruise lines have eliminated them.

No, I'm not joking. I am on a 32 day cruise and don't want to pack laundry detergent if there is a liquid that is auto dispensed in the self serve machines. I have enough to pack without extra's that are not needed. I was on a HAL ship last year and this was the type of machine they used. Gee, if we are going to be so snide, perhaps you could learn the proper use of you're vs your.

Off the Island Princess on November 12 after a full transit of the Panama Canal. We used quarters in the laundromat, $2 for washer and $2 for dryer.

Do you need to provide your own laundry detergent, or is it already in the machine via push button on the washer.

Thanks for your replies, I will check before I purchase. It's just much more economical to get the larger # of minutes.

I am doing a B2B on the Island Princess starting 3/6 in LA. Does anyone know if I can purchase the larger internet package and use it until the end of the second cruise in Venice.

Rich -Patrick stopped doing tours in 2013. We had contacted him but to the sporadic cruise stops he couldn't justify setting up the drivers and then they wouldn't get paid for the tour and had already lost time from their regular jobs. He sent me three names. I contacted Nyree while on board the Veendam earlier this year when we thought we were going to make it to the Falklands, but unfortunately weather prevailed and we sailed by.

That's funny about Patrick, because I just booked a tour with him for 2/2014. Maybe he reconsidered.
