Book Marmalade well in advance, take the wine pairing Menu, very popular with discerning residents, vacationers and cruisers.

I should have specified earlier that we will have 2 kids, a year old and 15 year old.

  2. We will be staying 2 nights prior to embarkation and am curious if we need to make dining reservations ahead of time or is it customary to just walk in to the restaurants there. This will be our first time in San Juan and we will be staying April 7-9th at Decanter. My initial thought was to just ask the front desk for recommendations once we get there but now I'm wondering if I need to plan ahead for dining.

Allure is not amped, oasis is amped. They changed a few things. Oasis has wonderland and some big slide called the abyss. You might google the restaurants onboard to figure out which is missing. Music hall in a smaller version was added to oasis, not on allure. Not sure when you are booking but ABC islands seem iffy.

Oasis has Wonderland? I'll be on her for my first time in April and I've always wanted to try it!

  4. On our October Allure sailing, we could choose 1 bottle of wine or champagne.  Below is cut/paste from our initial genie email

You have your Ultimate Beverage Package included as Star Class guests that includes all drinks in any of the bars onboard up to $13.00 per glass, anything additional gets charged to your onboard account. Any drink in special souvenir glass, pineapple, coconut water and daily special cocktails are not included.

If you wish to purchase Wine/Champagne by bottle, you have 40% off the bottle if it's priced below $100 and 20% off as discount if priced above $100.

As your mini bar is included, please let me know your beverage preferences in advance from the following options: Evian Water | Tonic Water | San Pelegrino sparkling water | Club Soda | Coca-Cola | Diet Coke | Coke Zero | Sprite | Sprite Zero | Fanta | Ginger Ale | Minute Maid Juice orange & apple |  Beer: Amstel Light, Budweiser, Bud Light, Coors Light, Corona, Guinness, Heineken, Miller Lite, Stella.

May I also ask if you prefer to be greeted with
one of the following bottles: Champagne Moet Chandon Brut 750ml | Wine Chardonnay Cakebread Napa 750ml | Wine Pinot Noir Belle Glos Las Alturas Monterey 750ml | Wine Sauvignon Blanc Cloudy Bay New Zealand 750ml | Wine Cabernet Sauvignon Sequoia Grove Rutherford 750ml | Wine Merlot Duckhorn Vineyards Napa 750ml

Were you able to access Wi-fi from the cabana?

I don't remember using my phone for anything other than taking photos, but I know the 2 teens I had with me were on theirs so I would say I'm 99% sure they were on wi-fi. Actually, we were streaming music from apple music so yes, we had to have been on wifi.

Thank you!  I was hoping for this answer but didn't want to hedge my bets.  It's a lot of $$ to not be able to enjoy a bit of peace.

As a tip, hope you don't get cabana #1. This is what we had and since it was on the end, we constantly had people asking to use our slide and swimming SUPER close to our ladder.

We are looking to possibly rent an over the water cabana but wonder about noise level.  For us it would be to relax.  How close are they actually to each other?  In your experience have they been loud with partiers or just nominal noise levels.

I know there will be people talking and splashing around, that's not my concern.  It's the loud party type events I'm curious about.  It's a ton of money to lay down and I'd like to know before I do.

So please, those of you who HAVE rented one, what has your experience been.

We had an OTW cabana at the Beach Club last month. We could not hear anything from any other cabana. The speakers (they have preset stations you can play or you can use your phone) sound a little loud when you're sitting in it, but we couldn't even hear our own once we got in the water. Maybe we got lucky but I don't think you will have any issues

  8. I booked a sailing using an offer I received for $500 OBC for myself and another person. Is it possible to change myself to a different person and keep the second person and still keep the rate and OBC? The second person that is already booked received the same offer code but it was booked under mine.

I realize this is no longer a suggestion and in fact a scheduled time for boarding.

Any recent information regarding same booking reservation number for 2 guests and 2 different required check-in times?

YMMV but on our Adventure sailing in June, 1 member of our party had a later time than the rest of us and was able to check in at our earlier time. It only makes sense just in case someone is denied boarding and their traveling party should need to know.

  10. Myself, husband, daughter (14) and daughter (6) will be flying into MCO Friday early evening in October. Saturday our other daughter and friend (both 22) will be flying into MCO. We would like to visit Kennedy Space Center on Saturday and cruise is on Sunday.  I'm looking for recommendations for lodging and transportation. I've thought about vrbo since we would need 2 bedrooms but didn't see anything that just stood out. I've seen most people say if you're arriving at night, it's best to stay in Orlando but not sure about the best place for staying 2 nights. Would a rental car (SUV that holds 6) be worth it or just uber everywhere? Would a rental car even be able to be returned at the port in October? I looked at 2 can rental places and they both said location closed (I assume that's temporary). Any advice for this stressing mom would be greatly appreciated!

  11. If I upgrade an existing reservation from interior to balcony, will I get the better perks as if I booked new? Right now, they are offering $200 obc and I got nothing when booking. I can't cancel because it says I will lose my deposit. I've read that while I can't cancel and rebook to get a better price, that I should be able to upgrade. Is that true? And if so, will I get the new offer of OBC?
