We will be on the Norwegian Sun in a couple of weeks and are trying to figure out which beach to go to with a 6yesr old and 2 year old. Fortune looks the best with low crowds, quiet calm beach, and good beach restaurant, but am afraid the cab ride will be over 30 minutes and expensive. Can anyone confirm?
Paradise Cove looks good too, but could be crowded with the cruise ship and I’m confused on their pricing. Also, is it good?
Xanadu is close but don’t think there is a restaurant.
Taino looks to be crowded but will have restaurant and other amenities.
Basically our family wants a quiet calm beach with beach chairs, a restaurant, and not the longest and most expensive taxi ride. We will be off the ship as early as possible to enjoy the day.

Atlantis doesn't work for GBI. Atlantis only works for Nassau.

I have read stories about people waiting for 2 to 3 hours to get to the private island. Someone please tell me this is the exception not the rule. Are there any tips to avoid long lines?

Hi everyone, I’m sorry to repost, are there any suggestions for a small kid friendly beach near the Grand Bahama Island Cruise Dock?
Ideally, we would have a short cab ride with a calm water beach, chairs, umbrellas, ability to have a restaurant on the beach or adjacent and not a fortune. We don’t need an all inclusive resort.

Has anyone stayed on deck 10 and had noise?

I am looking into a "surprise" balcony room deal to save money. Are there any areas that I should be concerned over? Has anyone has noise problems? Excess evening noise other than elevators/stairwell traffic, like bars/clubs are my main concerns. I see that there are balcony rooms on deck 10, and there are many public rooms on deck 11. It looks like we could be under the sun decks, sports bar, Moderno Churrascaria or garden cafe.
