Any suggestions on what there is to do there for a day?
Can you hook onto tours/guides outside of the terminal?

My wife has Parkinson's, she can walk somewhat and she insists not to give in and order a wheel chair for getting off the plane and going thru customs.
Can someone out there give me a little insight as to how much walking will be involved before we finally get to the car service that we have ordered?
I am leaning toward ordering a wheelchair thru AA but not looking to start our vacation off with an argument when we first arrive,
Thank you in advance for your information

We won't have local currency ahead of arriving Buenos Aires EZE. Does taxi accept US$ or credit card?
What is a reasonable fare from EZE to BA hotel? Does EZE airport have free WiFi, we cannot count on ordering Uber/Lyft on my phone. Does anyone have info on purchasing a sim card at the airport?
Thanks OP for posting this subject.

Thank you for that information. I was intending to use it to communicate with family through texting, since we have so many sea days.
texting works, use Whats Ap. Streaming (movies etc) is not good

I was not concerned about coming back to the US, my question was about boarding in BA for the cruise on the Infinity.
I know there is no testing on the Infinity this week for the cruise to Patagonia but that boards in Chili (friend on that cruise) At this point since nothing is on the Celebrity website and on the Argentina website it states that no testing is required to enter the country, that its not going to be an issue unless something changes in the next 90 days.
-
That’s my problem, nothing is listed for Argentina

Did she use a proctor or have to use a site in BA for testing?
How many days before do they require testing?
-
What are the testing requirements for boarding for this upcoming South America season? I looked at the website and could not find anything listed for Argentina.
Looking to travel to Buenos Aires a few days early and depending on the boarding requirements will have to set up a proctored test and or self test and take a picture.
Please shed some light on this
Thank you

We are scheduled to fly to Buenos Aires on April 1 (arriving April 2 8:00 am) from Miami and just wondering (best guest estimate) of how long the process is from the time we land until we can meet a car service?
I know that there are extenuating circumstances such as luggage delays, number of flights, number of people to be processed, etc.
I am finding that most car services have a set time that they will wait. If I had somewhat of an idea from those of you out there that have gone through customs in Buenos Aires, I would have a better idea of what type of service to set up as well as best time to schedule for touring the day of arrival.
Thank you in advance for your help.

We are set to sail November 12 and need some information for planning out our specialty reservations and excursions. Can someone please give me an idea of the special show times and days (I know that they change from time to time) but am looking more for somewhat of a schedule for the shows that require reservations, that have to be made when we get on. I have not travelled for years on Royal (mainly Celebrity) and in the past you could make reservations ahead of time so you could plan around the shows especially some of the large production ones.
Any information would be greatly appreciated. I would like to book everything (naturally other than entertainment) as soon as possible.
Thank you

The big question is what are the cruise ships going to require?

Have your hotel make the arrangements

Suggest you go to the website where the current testing rules are clearly posted as will any changes. If you signed up for email updates on your cruise you can see any changes there as well.
Not on website, thus the reason for posting the question

Is there any word on requirements for pre testing on cruises leaving from Buenos Aires?

Has anyone heard if there are any covid restrictions/requirements for cruising out of Argentina?
We are scheduled for this spring out of Buenos Aires and not sure if Celebrity has lifted all their covid restrictions like they have for cruising out of the US

I couldn't find prices on their website. Any idea how much to rent golf cart for the day?
I just did reserved yesterday, $100 for a cart for 2 or $130 for a cart for 4. No deposit required for booking. You can go snorkeling and use their cart. You rent for the entire day

I've tried to contact them through email and messenger ,to reserve and haven't had any response. Is this normal?
I just did it yesterday and they responded immediately and after I sent them a reply, I received my confirmation for the rental on Nov 15 (day we are there)
Cost is now $100 and a refundable deposit of $100 at time you pick up the cart. You do not need to give a deposit or credit card at time of booking

I know its a day to day issue but would like to know as of today what is the requirement for testing on cruises that sail from Buenos Aires and Rio?
I know about Europe but have seen nothing on SA. Please give any information you have
Thank you

As of today, what is the pre testing requirement for cruises out of Buenos Aires. I know it changed for Europe and Caribbean but have not seen anything on south America.
I am hopeful it will change but just curious if I missed it

We are leaving from Buenos Aires
Planning on being there two days prior to boarding the ship (Infinity) but then we have a overnight in port {first night) and do not actually leave until the next evening (actually second day of cruise) never had this before, the question is on day one can we come and go once we are checked in for additional sightseeing or do we have to wait until ship has the muster and luggage drop off?
Do they have times that you have to re-board if in fact we do get off on the first day?.
Asking now because we are lining up a tour guide and not sure how many days to plan on.
I know I have the two prior days and the one that is day two of the cruise but its the boarding day that I an concerned about.
Debarkation tour ending at Buenos Aires airport

We just finished a trip that started in Buenos Aires and started three days prior to the cruise. We used Gyde&Seek and chose a private guide for all three days (she picked us up at the airport) and ended three days later at the port. They can customize your day. The guide we used was Ariel for the entire three days even though it shows her specialty as Jewish history, absolutely phenomenal!!!!
