Might anyone be able to give me a good estimate for approximately what time we might be able to disembark? We are wanting to get to Six Flags Magic Mountain the day we get back to port, but if we can't get off the ship until late morning, it won't give us much time at the amusement park. I've only ever sailed the Caribbean before, and we've almost always been off the ship by 7:30 AM, but it sounds like it is going to be MUCH later in Long Beach....

I live in Long Beach & wanted to chime in. If you can get off the ship really early like by 8:30 the latest, then Magic Mountain is doable. Anytime later and it may not be worth your while. Valencia (where MM is located) is about 1 hour away in NO TRAFFIC, but you have to drive through LA to get there and LA traffic can be a mightmare even on a Sunday. It usually takes us a minimum of 1.5 hours to get there, usually 2 hours.
