  1. Where can I find this cruise?

I keep getting Instagram pop up ads for a cruise that pictures this itinerary: leaves New York, stops in Boston, stop at 2-3 ports in Greenland, goes through Baffin Bay north to north of Alaska, south through the Bering Strait and ends in Seward. When I click on the link, it just brings me to ads for every cruise line but the one that runs this cruise. I can't find this cruise anywhere. Anyone know who runs it?

    TIA

  2. I am looking at PC cruises for early 2023. I just saw ‘partial transit’. What does that mean? I envisioned passing through the entire canal-locks and all. Think I’m going to have another of my fantasies crushed.

Am taking my family6 adults and 2 small children. I welcome tips and advice.

  3. I suspect AQ wants to fill some empty cabins for their late summer/fall cruises. I am specifically interested in the Snake River/Columbia RiverCruise. When I checked last week,

the website had them at full price when the usual $xx off per cabin. Now it gives a number to call for pricing which is making me skeptical. Does anyone know if they will be discounting (really discounting, not the usual discount that everyone e gets anyway) the cruises to fill the cabins or if I need to go through an agent?

  4. Thanks for the clarification. I'm a cynic and I don't like surprises- especially

when it comes to my vacations. Will give the pseudo ocean view some more thought and maybe bump up to balcony. I think looking out a window and seeing a lifeboat would aggravate me more than not having a window.

    Appreciate your input. Happy travels!

  5. Hello, We are looking at a June 2020 Ankorage to Vancouver cruise on Holland because it includes

GBNP. I clicked on the Oceanview room to get more information and it says 'fully obstructed'.

Huh? Within the Oceanview choice is three sub categories, 'ocean view' for $200 more than the

come on price, 'partial oceanview' for $100 more than the come on price and 'fully obstructed' for the

price of an ocean view. An ocean view that is fully obstructed? For an actual ocean view,

I'll pay the additional $200 but now I am rethinking Holland. If they are selling rooms called

ocean view only to have passengers board the ship with no view, what other surprises are there?

    The ship is the Westerdam.

    TIA

  6. Hello,we are planning a cruise for June 2020. I have done a little research and know that I am

looking for the following: one way cruise with a land tour, the land portion staring in Fairbanks,

and spending at least one full day if not more in Denali. I know we want

more than the cheapo Natural History Tour. We also want to make sure we see GBNP on

the cruise. I am having trouble finding a cruise with all those combos. Any suggestions?

    TIA
