  1. Does anyone have recommendations for transportation from the Palm Beach area to Port Canaveral?  My elderly mother lives in Palm Beach and will be meeting us at Port Canaveral (or MCO) next month for a cruise.  We live out of state and are flying directly to Orlando.  She does not drive, so having her rent a car is not an option.  Thanks in advance!

  2. I am concerned about an upcoming cruise and am hoping that someone can give me some guidance/advice.  We are a family of 6 (2 parents, 3 kids, and grandma) travelling together.  We have 3 cabins, each with one adult and a child in a cabin.  The family of 5 bought travel insurance together and then grandma bought her own policy because she has a separate address from us.  Grandma had a medical issue and may not be able to travel on our upcoming cruise.  I know that this will be covered under her insurance plan if she has to cancel.  But.......what happens to my child who was in her cabin with her and will still be going on the cruise?  She obviously can't be in a cabin alone.  And apparently, the other two cabins that we are in are only for 2 people and won't fit a third person.  So I'm guessing that one of us will need to move to a cabin that accommodate 3 people, but the price for that cabin is ridiculously more money than what we paid months ago.  Does insurance cover the difference between having to "upgrade" to a 3 person cabin?  It's several thousand dollars more than what we initially paid.

    Thanks!

I did buy a pair to check out. $23 total. It's worth a shot to not have to take so much meclizine!

I get very woozy, dizzy, and awful headaches on cruises. Whatever bit of motion sickness I have has progressively gotten worse with each cruise and age. It starts the moment I step on board, I can feel the motion despite being in port. I have trouble on planes more than I've had before too. If I'm looking out the window and the plane is turning or banked then my head starts spinning. I'm really hoping they help the most after a cruise! I have really bad "sea legs" and have to take meds for up to a week after sailing.

Next stop is 15 day round trip l.a. to Hawaii with 10 sea days. Never had that long of a cruise or sea days before.

So did you purchase them and use them?  I'm interested in getting feedback as my daughter suffers from motion sickness. Thanks!

  4. We will be heading to Cozumel next week and would like to spend a few hours at a beach. We don't need fancy toys to jump on. Nor do we need a pool. We just want a nice beach to sit on and swim in the water. Several of us have food allergies so we will not be eating any food off the ship and therefore do not need an All Inclusive beach resort. And, one of us gets very carsick, so we don't want to travel more than 15-20 min from the ship.

    Any suggestions?? Thanks so much!
