For the first time in my 20 cruises I noticed a group of adults passing a joint around above the pool deck on the Liberty, sail date 8/15.  I was shocked!  Security eventually walked over but by that time the "smoke festivities" were done!  

Oh well Carnival is getting a little too loose for me! All my perks and past cruises (15) are with RC so despite their usually high fares I'll have to just suck it up!

My family and I were on this cruise too!!! This was my 20th cruise, 15 with RC and 5 with Carnival.  It was my 3rd time on Liberty and I enjoyed the ship and all the itineraries!

You were correct! The walk from the Liberty was long due to the ship's berth in the Nassau Port AND it was smoking hot!

Princess Cay was nice with lots of beach activities but the wait for kayaks and other beach toys was long. They use paper and clip boards to log the beach toys in and out. You have to review the legal mumbo jumbo and sign which takes way too long. They should just have all the electronically done on the ship before you get there. The paperwork the workers had to use really slowed them down.  All in all though it was nice. The equipment rental process needs to be streamlined!

Great time but I did bring Covid home with me. ☹️ Only me though my wife and son escaped infection... thankfully!

We just got off the Freedom, 8/14 sail date, and a note on the door states that children under 18 are allowed as long as they are well behaved. My wife, my 9 year old son and I went to the DL. My son is mature for his age and sat quietly while we snacked and had wine and beer. Actually, he was more "Adult" than one woman in there who was loud and was using foul language. Her friend reminded her that there was a child across from her, but she said, "Well, kids aren't allowed in here anyway,". My wife shot her a stare and said, "Yes, they are!" Her friend was embarrassed and left. We finished up our snacks and left, checlking the sign on the door and it was plainly written. So I guess she couldn't read! Although, I'm a 48 year old adult I do not want to hear another person's foul mouth either! We are ADULTS and last I checked I was not in college!
