Cruising the Adriatic from Venice in August. Ship will spend the first night in port and departs at 5:30 on day two. Interested to hear from folks who have had a similar itinerary what you did on Day One. Check in early and then go explore? Explore Venice and get to the boat towards the end of check in? Do some third alternative I haven't thought about?
