It would to help to know which ship and itinerary you are planning to cruise...
Disney Fantasy 7-Night Western Caribbean Cruise from Port Canaveral:D
-
But of course, I found it once I posted. I'll add it here in case anyone else needs it.
http://disneycruiselineblog.com/personal-navigators/
I'm very excited to finally go on my first Disney cruise. Anyone who has any tips I'd really appreciate it. We are going kid-less so any info for adult stuff or really anything is greatly appreciated. :D
-
I was playing around on the boards and went to a thread that had this great link in it that had the reviews of menu's for all four Disney ships, the restaurants, Palo Brunch, etc... I've since had to restart my computer and lost the page. Anyone have the link I'm looking for? Help please. It was such a great page and I've been searching and can't find it. It even had the DCL navigator pages on it, and loads of other helps. Thanks in advance.
-
Yep, you just email them and they will give you stuff like, the above mentioned and we've gotten $50 and $75 free play money, gift basket with photo coupons, wine, fruit and cheese, etc...
Love it!:D
-
Neither, just alchemy red frog, skybox sports and cherry on top and new shows. Doh
So you've been on the Miracle and your sure or did someone tell you?
I just don't understand why they didn't put a screen on her like they did in the upgrade for the Pride.
-
Does anyone know for sure what upgrades the Miracle just got last week? I was wondering especially if they got the large screen on the lido deck for Dive-in movies:rolleyes: and if they got a Guy's:D.
I originally heard she would get the same upgrades as the Pride, but then later heard she wouldn't be getting all the Pride got:confused:, ugh... I would really love to know now that she is done!
I did a search and didn't see anything.
Thanks in advance,
~m~

thanks for taking the time to post your review. We are on the Sunshine this June and love having your knowledge about the comedy club and how busy they can get.
Did you try JiJi or the italian restaurant for lunch when it was free? Or dinner paid?

Great pictures of the food in the steak house (all ships have the same menu.) This is old and I believe there are a couple of changes, put you can see what a lot of the entrees and desserts look like.
Thank you Zydecocruiser....as always.
Great picture of the chocolate sampler on the zydecocruiser, if you haven't had it it is amazing!!!
Also, I love their gourmet macaroni & cheese, they don't always have it, but you can ask and they will give it to you as an extra side, YUMOOO

I went to the internet cafe to print my boarding pass and then to my cabin to pack and fill out my custom form. As you can tell, I did not spend a lot on this cruise, the most expensive things were the photos, they cost me $22 each
I Love your review. you have such a fun sense of humor that makes it quite enjoyable reading. I'm going on a b2b2b on the Sunshine in June and love reading about her.
Did you have to pay to print your boarding pass? I've never used the internet cafe but thought them to be very expensive. How did you print your boarding pass without a huge fee?
thanks in advance,
~mary~

I contacted the casino and was told I will receive a premium bon voyage package.
Anyone know what that consists of?
Will be on the Triumph.
Leaving Texas, Do they bring it to my cabin or do I have to go get it?
When can I expect to receive it?
Thank you everyone
Make sure you bring a copy of the email with you. We've had several problems getting what they said we earned once we were on board. Even had the hostess say she would look into it and later call us saying we didn't earn anything, was sure glad we had our email to bring with us to prove otherwise.

In Sept. we did a B2B2B2B2B & have a picture of each one.
It is so cool because so many of the crew recognize you & just seem to enjoy that. I had one of the girls tell me it is neat for them also kinda like I know someone.
Fun when you see people standing at the elevator looking at the map trying to figure out where they are & of course you've been there & done that last week.
Enjoy & if you have any more questions just ask.
Our next B2B is on the Liberty in Dec. just got off one on Paradise ( two five day ) after you do one it is hard to do a single one again.
Char
you are my hero:D!!! We have done 2 b2b and are doing our first b2b2b this June, I thought that was extreme going for 3 weeks. How many days was your "B2B2B2B2B"

I was on the Glory in October and the movie were several times:confused:. Sometimes they'd have just one and it would be at a really odd time like 5:30pm, other times it would be a double feature 7:30 & 9... it really had no pattern to it and was never at the same times each night. You'd have to wait the night before to find out what the next day movie and times would be.
Oh, and two times it was one time on the back page of the fun time, but another time in the pull-out section:mad:.
-
Anyone know why the schedule doesn't have Butch on it for the Breeze? I thought that is where he always is, and now I don't see him on the schedule at all.
-
Great review so far, thanks for taking the time for the Alaska cruise, but now onto the Glory, which I will be on in 18 days.... waiting for Glory review.....:D
-
Excited to see the rest of your review. I'm in Seattle and going on the Glory in less than 30 days, dh is very very worried about the new menu's so I'm trying to get some positive info on them for him.
Funny, I've lived in Seattle for 16 years and haven't made it over to Mr Rainier, though your review has me wanting to finally go, lol.
Next time your in Seattle, make sure to include our infamous "gum wall" at pike place. It is seriously a wall of gum, right at Pike's Place, but down a hill. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gum_Wall, lol
Looking forward to the rest of your review, fantastic so far, keep it up.

I know they seem to be changing them still, but you'd think with four different ships sailing with them, someone would have a recent menu from them other then the ones posted by zydeco that are outdated now.
-
The only place I know with the menus shown is zydeco cruiser dot com.
It has the American Table and American Feast menus, but is not completely updated after the tweaking over the past few months.
yes, I know about zydeco, but they don't have many soups, so I don't think they are very current anymore, you'd think someone would have a copy of the newest menu's, I'd thought I'd throw it out here and see if I could find any copies.
-
Any one just off the four ships that carry the new menu's? I hear they've been changing them a bit adding back in soup, but as much as I've been searching, I just can't find the newest additions. Help.... and thanks in advance :D
-
excited with your review, we leave on her on Monday, can't wait!!!:D
-
I'm on the June 9th cruise... so just to clarify... it looks like they are NOT going to the new menu? Anyone going on the June 1st sailing before mine that can report back to us and let us know for sure? I know it really is no big deal, but I'd love to know.

From a picky laundry person (who irons most clothes - lol):
The service is good, especially because we don't have to pack as much. I also like not bringing home suitcases full of dirty clothes! Confession - I do again wash many of the laundered items after we return home, because I
like them softer and like the smell of Downy softener. They use an unscented detergent, and I understand why they do.
It appears you wrote my response for me:D.
Dh loves this perks now we are Platinum and insists that we use it. I did it the first time very very skeptically, since I am a very picky laundry person, but everything came back folded and in extra bags since Dh crammed all his stuff into one bag. I was impressed that it came back so nice, but I do rewash almost all of them once I'm home since I love my Downy;).

We went directly through Carnival's website for our very first cruise, and then encountered a Carnival PVP that we absolutely loved and have used since then...however we always know what we want, what dates, room type, etc and just call him directly. It benefits us both because he knows we do it so he can get the "credit" and in turn he always finds us little extra perks here and there that are nice.
Sounds like you've got a good PVP, are you aloud to pass along their name and extension?
-
I would say yes you have to decide right then. There was another thread from a person who got called with an upgrade/upsell call and while she was thinking about it (on the phone with the agent) some other agent sold the cabin and it was now unavailable.
I saw that post, oh my... is it getting heated over on that thread.
Thanks for the input everyone, I thought it wasn't the deal for us, but then you start to second guess once you say no. I really think I've heard of much better deals than that. Like bugeater2 said... there are deals and then there are DEALS!!!:D
