Hi,
Just received my upgrade for this Sunday 05/19/19 NYC Escape. I bid on several Haven rooms and received Haven Aft Balcony.
My bid was in the fair range for that room. It was also my highest bid. We were in that room last year and really enjoyed it.

Our last 3 cruises have been on the Escape. My favorite bar for Martinis was tobacco road. If you like all types have Henry make you a Pear martini.

I am also on the 11/11/17 Gem sailing. I called this morning and they do not have any additional updates. I was told that they are still trying to secure ports and NCL will contact us. I am also checking several times a day :D. Hopefully we will find out soon.

I am also on the 5/21/16 Cruise. Just got an email that it has been cancelled. Don't think I will ever get there. This is 4th time scheduled to stop there that it has been cancelled . Here is the Email with new schedule:
Dear Valued Guests,
We look forward to welcoming you aboard the beautiful Norwegian Gem for a wonderful cruise vacation. We have some important information for you
regarding the ship's itinerary.
In order to conduct maintenance to Norwegian Gem's Azipod propulsion system, the ship will proceed directly to Nassau after our call in Port Canaveral.
We will arrive in Nassau on Wednesday at 11 am and remain overnight, departing at 6 pm on Thursday once the maintenance is completed. We regret to
inform you that the ship will not be able to call on Great Stirrup Cay with the revised schedule. We apologize for this change and would like to thank you for
your patience and understanding.
Please review the revised itinerary information below
As a gesture of our appreciation, we will be providing each stateroom with a non-refundable $50 onboard credit, which can be used on any expenditure on

Thank You- We missed him by a week back in November. He was on a break. We were the first sailing after the gem's dry dock.
Sorry to hear you missed Stirrup Cay. Have been scheduled 3 times to stop there. Have not made yet it. I am hoping on the 5/21/16 sailing, we will get to see it.
Have fun-sounds like a blast.

Have fun ladies! Love the Gem. We will be boarding on 05/21/16. Does anyone know if Leo (Guitar Player) is on board. Really enjoyed him in the past. Hoping he will be on board for our cruise.

If you can "hit" Lower Manhattan - Canal Street/West Side Hwy area for the approach to Holland Tunnel by 7 AM
Hi,
Thank You. Yes that was what we were planning. We have decided to book a room and drive in the evening before.
Thanks Again

That's ambitious. You might want to check this place out. http://www.yelp.com/biz/brownstone-diner-and-pancake-factory-jersey-city
Hi,
Thank you!
We have decided to drive in the evening before on 05/20/15. After reading all of various posts we just booked a room in Elizabeth, NJ. The Embassy Suites on
Glincher Reality way. We will just drive and park at the port the next morning.
Thanks Again!

Hi,
Thank you
We are from Wallingford, CT, which is the town just south of Meriden. We have traveled down several times to the Manhattan Cruise terminal and into battery park area. We are very familiar with that route. I was curious about the Holland tunnel because it looks closer to the port. We would like to hit NYC area by 7:00 am. I know we will have a lot if time to kill before actually arriving in port. We were planning on stopping in NJ for breakfast. I just don't want to get caught in any traffic problems.

Hi,
We are leaving on LOS Thursday 05/21/15. Can anyone give me any information as to which route we should take. We can either take 95 to GW or hop on 15 to the Holland tunnel. We will probably leave very early in the morning to avoid the morning commute going into the NYC area.
Thanks

Serenade two weeks ago a vodka and grapefruit juice was $14 including the 18% tip
Hi,
Wow, that is a lot. Is that with the house brand vodka? I am a grey goose vodka girl, did you notice how much they were charging for the those drinks. It might be worth it to me to purchase the drink package at these prices. Does anyone know if grey goose is included with the package?

I have been checking everyday also. We are 51 days out, Liberty of the Seas
May 21 sailing. Hopefully soon! :)
-
Hi,
Yes, we are on the LOS 05/21/15. I posted the same question today. I have been trying everyday, but nothing has opened up yet. I called and the resolution dept stated that dining reservations for our cruise would not be opened up until around final payment. A fellow cruise critic member responded to my post and was told by RCL sometime this week for her cruise also in May.
This is our first cruise on RCL. I haven't ever had any problems booking dining well before final payment on other lines. Hopefully, the dining will open up this week.
Enjoy your cruise, sounds like a wonderful itinerary!
-
Hi,
I am first time cruiser on RCL. LOS 05/21/15. I have been trying to make online reservations for dining for our sailing. We are 81 days out and the reservation system is still not opened up for our cruise. I called and spoke to someone at RCL resolution dept and was told nothing would open up until after final payments were made.
I have cruised several other lines and never had an issue with reserving dining for speciality restaurants well before final payment. Does this sound correct??
Thank you

We just docked in Florida so I figured I'd share some pics. So far the cruise has been great.
Thanks For posting your the pictures. I hope you are enjoying your cruise. Is this room 12908? We will be in this room starting 11/10/13. Can't wait, looks like an awesome balcony. Does the balcony get a lot of sun?
What was your upgrade offer and what did you bid

We booked a mini Suite. Thanks!
