  1. I just booked the Royal transfer from ship to Marco Polo airport. Have handy the airline, flight number and departure time.

Staying in Venice for 3 days prior. Through Royal they have transfer from City Center at 9 am and 11 am. Booked the 9. Approximately, $59.00 per person each way. I my opinion, not bad especially since this our first trip to Venice.

  2. My TA has checked with Oceania and they told us to ignore the details on the first cancellation email.

    The two options are:

    (A) Rebook to 24th Oct with same category and same price, plus USD 250 per cabin OBC.

    (B) Cancel and refund, plus receive 10% FCC (book before 11th May 2023, sail before 11th May 2024). Then you can use the FCC to rebook other voyages later.

If you choose (A) but your category is on waitlist, I hope they will arrange to upgrade you.

This was the option given to us and my 2 friends. We opted to cancel and go on a Princess cruise in November .  Now trying to get the money back that I paid for 3 nights in Venice. No refunds . Offered cruise does not go to Trieste or Venice. Thankfully , I did not do air yet.

  3. Is anyone else having an issue filling out the ETIS form? First, they did not have Oceania on the site. The travel agent informed them and it was added. Now, I can not change the date between the different islands. They want your complete itinerary. I had to send an email to ETIS. I am curious if anyone else is having an issue?

    Thanks

  4. This year, we are driving into port, and the Navigator does not have a Freestyle machine, so I am going to be bringing a supply of Diet Dr. Pepper, and Sprite Zeros.

After reading this thread, I'm going to stick two 12 packs into a rolling carryon. Should fit nicely.

Now, the problem is to keep them cold - I like them as cold as possible. Knowing that the "fridges" in the cabins are really just a few degrees cooler than ambient, I'll be looking to get the room attendant to stock my room with ice. I'm thinking of purchasing one of these soft-walled coolers , and have the attendant keep it full of ice.

Anyone have any other ideas to keep the cans cold during the cruise?

Has anyone every had a problem with the cabin attendant getting you that much ice?

Always bring my own Diet Coke caffeine free and Coke Zero. I get stomach issues from soda rom a Tap or machine if I drink it too long. We bring a cooler and on the first day offer the room attendant an extra tip to keep cooler full of ice. Have never had a problem.

  5. Thank you all...I guess I want the perfect ship/itinerary for our departure date which is March 14 or 15. I will keep looking and may have to pay more for one of the bigger ships...was hoping to grab a bargain on an interior room but no bargains at that time of year!!

On another note: has anyone cruised as a mom/daughter duo before? I'm a bit nervous not to be with a bigger group and don't want my daughter to get too bored with her middle-aged mama!!

My daughter wanted to do a mother/daughter cruise for Spring Break. Her break is March 14. I had many reservations as she is 21 and I do not plan on going out with her at night. She told me it did not matter and wanted to spend time with me. She is a sr in college. I am going to surprise her with the Liberty cruise to Belize and Cancun. I think 5 days is enough. We have been on Liberty before and I look forward to doing spa days together and warmer weather than NY.
