I'm starting to get confused on what dates we're going to be at the ports.  Carnival shows us crossing the date line on Thursday April 20, then in Tahiti the next day on Friday April 21.  Isn't there a date change crossing the date line?

Plugging in our cruise dates into Shore Excursions:

They show us repeating April 20, which throws off scheduling private excursions.  They also have Noumea on the 15th instead of the 16th and Suva on the 17th instead of the 18th.  This really makes booking private excursions a hassle.  I've already booked Noumea and Suva with Viator, but now I'm concerned that I've booked the wrong dates.  Any ideas on this?

Just my opinion.... I would trust Carnivals itinerary on the booking confirmation before an outside site.  When we cross the date line we do repeat Thursday April 20th as we are sailing east to west,  so Tahiti on the 21st is correct.

Don't know about your bookings???? You would think if the ship is not in port that day they would meet you there the next day???? I would reach out to them I guess.

    MASKS AND PHYSICAL DISTANCING

Masks are not required on board during your cruise. However, masks will be required during the entire embarkation and debarkation process in the home port. Additionally, we recommend guests wear masks in public indoor spaces, outdoors when in large congregate events where physical distancing cannot be maintained and on water shuttles.

This is more up to date than the email that was sent out in January regarding masks on Australian cruises  ...................

I was speaking to a Carnival rep last week an she advised that what was on the Covid 19 Covid protocol page was current.
