Hi,

We are planning to book a cruise for early January for 2 weeks.  Just realized that our passports expire in mid February.  I'm wondering if we should try to renew them before we go, or is that necessary?  I'm worried about sending them in and not getting it done in time (although we would be willing to pay the extra money to expedite things).  I'm wondering if there are any restrictions as to how much time you have before your passport expires when you go on a cruise.  Really don't want to book a cruise without having a passport at hand, but we can't wait too long to try to book, either.  Thanks for any help you can give.

My DH has been able to hook up to almost all of the TV's. The wall mounted ones do offer a tough challenge since you sometimes have to disconnect their input & use your own.  

The system on the Crown Princess was among the easiest. They even had the input on the TV so it  could be switched. 

Thanks so much for your help.  I was getting pretty discouraged until I read your reply!  We will be on the Emerald, and I did hear that they don't have wall mounted televisions.  My DH is really good at this stuff as well.

I have a question about the televisions on newer and/or refurbished Princess ships.  Do they have free movies, or is it pay per view?  Also, can you hook up a dvd player to the televisions?
