Hi all! Recently sailed on Breakaway and due to the shop refit they had no model ships for sale. Every cruise we go on we get one as a momento. Any idea if we can purchase one anywhere off the ship?
Many thanks in advance!

Mike wanted me to add a negative point.
He was upset that there were no premium drinks to be had in the casino bar, except good vodkas. And he had a premium drink card while playing in the casino.
He really like this premium Rum from Guatemala called Zacapa 23. He is known on the Bliss casino as “Mr. Zacapa”.
Not even Woodford or Crown Royal although they have that in the other bars for an up charge. He settled into drinking Jameson.Rant over.
Thanks for a fab review! We were on this cruise too and can't believe a week has past! Some great memories by seeing your pictures and review!
I remember Glenna with her gloves from the Glow night, what a legend!

items forbidden on board
Port Security has the duty to search Guests and luggage to confiscate any article internationally known as dangerous for the safety and security of Guests, Crew and ship. Such items will be confiscated and not returned. Alcohol, firearms, sharp objects such as blades and scissors, flammable and explosive material, items with heating elements or open flames (e.g. clothing irons, hair irons. kettles, hotplates, candles, incense), drones. If explosive material, guns or illegal drugs are detected, law enforcement will be immediately alerted. MSC MSC Cruises will be forced to deny access to any guests not complying with these mandated regulations. Thanks for this, I had seen this online.
The reason I ask this as when cruised with norwegian, our friend brought his drone on despite the same policy. Just wondered if anyone had any experience with taking one on. If they have to keep confiscating at returning at Port, it won't be worth the hassle

Hi all, can't find any info, am I able to take my mavic mini with me on board to use while in port or do they confiscate Drones on embarkation?
Thanks jn advance.

Hah? If you paid $3000 for a cruise, you get a $3000 FCC. The price you paid for your cruise months ago is not affected by the current market.
No but my cruise is currently about 200GBP cheaper
-
From the FAQ, it takes up to 7 days to get credit, knowing what their pricing structure is like then it could go wrong and the price goes up
-
Has anyone cancelled and revoked on same cruise at a lower price using the credit

That's a good question. Royal's policy seems to imply that you could do that and then get the difference as FCC.
So possibly I may have credit to use on a future cruise if cheaper?
-
So, in theory, my price has dropped. I could cancel then rebook the same cruise with credit. What happens to the credit that I dont use?

Hi all!
Just a question. Both of the cruises we have been on have dropped in price totalling around 300GBP
Now whilst we were happy in paying that price at booking I've seen that NCL sometimes offer onboard credit or room type upgrades?
We booked and paid in full with a UK travel agent. Can we do anything with NCL by way of them doing something for us?

If you don't drink is it It's 29$ pp worth it will they give you a deal?
Doubt they will give you a deal, but I'm not sure as enjoyable without the drink as its massive part of the show

Well worth it.

Hi all. Were on a Sky cruise in April which calls at GSC and Grand Bahama. Ive heard theres not loads to do in Grand Bahama so tempted to stay on board. I heard the spa does a special price for in port calls. Is this true and does anyone know how much?

Do they do bag offers on 4 night cruises?

All the cruises around mine dropped a ton this morning. Mine also dropped but balconies for 4 are all sold out so don't know how it would compare to my pricing. This is on the US site.
Hopefully they're moving now!

Is this on the UK site? Our US site 'Mega' sale supposedly ends in 6 hours. The cruises I've been watching have had pricing go up and down just a few dollars since the Black Friday sale, the 30% off and the $1000 off sale....still high!
Hoping tonight our prices drop too🤞
Yeah the UK site. It was so frustrating I nearly booked with others in protest. Glad ncl finally saw sense

Well. The january sale ended. Prices didnt drop. Then 2 days ago they went up nearly £100. Tonight they dropped to the lowest I've seen. Frantic call to TA and its booked! Thank god! Cant wait to experience the epic!

Here in the USA the prices are still the same under the 30% off "sale". I'm definitely considering a cruise with another cruiseline.
It's starting to really frustrate me.
I feel sorry for the TA because if i didnt know what NCL were up to, I'd be fuming and think he was lying.
However the prices have fluctuated again this morning. God knows what they are playing at!
Even when my TA rang them to ask to honour the price, they acted dumb as if he was wrong!
-
Well well well. I take everything back. After my post this morning, my TA called this afternoon to book. Gone up £500 grrrrr

No suprises to be honest - same thing happens every NCL sale in the UK , inflate the price by at least 35% then apply a sale %30... Its hilarious in that its so obvious.. Only sales that ever seem good are the latitude offers
A shame really. I started to panic as thought I may not be able to afford it. Just glad its better now. Their Prices are really stupid!

That'll be such a shame as all cruise lines seem to do them (I think). They are a great momento!
