That may be the situation on St Maarten also. For sure I can not assume that we could go to the beach on our own. It is so shame that when we are forced to take the excursion, there are no ordinary Beach -excursion available on St Maarten. 

Yes we have the excursion booked but I was wondering if we are ”free” after the tour or are we escorted back to the ship. Vaccinated can go to the town or beach after the tour, but  can we? 
 

We have booked an excursion because we have one unvaccinated kid with us. (She has one vaccine and has had the covid so she can not get the second vaccine on time). I am reading the info of an excursion on St Maarten and I would like to know have somebody with unvaccinated kids been able to walk around the marina and beach even when in a ”bubble tour” . 

This is what it says in the excursion info, but I don’t know if it is only for the unvaccinated? 
 

” Guests will be responsible for their transportation back to the ship.”

And 

• Walking time to the cruise terminal is approx. 5 minutes and walking time to downtown is approx. 10 minutes.”

and

”Browse the boutique for race gear and souvenirs before a leisurely stroll back to the cruise terminal.”

Do you think it is possible, that they let unvaccinated people to just walk around and go back to the ship all by themselves? Or is there going to be somebody who will escort you to the ship and no souvenir shopping or anything like that? 

What about drinks in the Suite Lounge? Included beer and wine all day or only at happy hour? Did you have drinks included at the Coastal Kitchen Lunch or only at happy hour 5pm to 8pm? We are not going to have a drink package. 

Do you what is the vaccination policy at Antigua. Can unvaccinated kids under 12 go to private excursions?

Could you give me advice? I have an Owners suite booked on Symphony 2022 and I am concidering to changing it to Crowne Loft suite, current price 10500€. Price of Owners suite is now about 11000€. I have originally paid only 6000€ for my OS. Can I change the cabin class from OS to cheaper crowne Loft without extra money? Or will they compare the current price to what I have paid and ask me to pay 4500€ more? 
 

I live in a country where there is kind of a ”no tipping” culture. For example I have never ever tipped a bar tender or hotel cleners here, they get reasonable salary for what they do and so do I, the difference in income is not huge. No tips needed. Of course I tip when abroad.  Now we will pay 510$ service fee or ”auto grads” for seven day cruice. I think that sum as a part of our cruice fare and it should ease my life as an unexperienced tipper. BUT... as this conversation has shown are the autograds enough? What are the mandatory moments, when I have to tip if I don’t wish to be rude. The guy who carries my suitcase? if I order room service? suite lounge bar tender when getting a comlimentary drink? room steward???

My lift and shift is now ok! I was on Empress 31.1. 2021 Western without cococay and I was lifted to Symphony February 2022 With cococay.  Kids sail free and OS. 
 

I am so grateful for all the help I got from here! Without your help I would never have tried to move the kids sail free and I would not have had the courage to reply my TA that they should ask again when they first denied the move. 
 

Now my first cruise is in OS on Symphony and that is unbelievable! Have to wait 20 months, but who cares!

If somebody has managed to make the lift and shift to a cruice without the kids sail free offer and still get the kids sail free -price please let us know! 

I am planning a cruise in the Grand suite of Anthem or Oasis/Allure. We want to book the Grand suite because it allows us to dine at the Coastal Kitchen. One thing that affects to my decicion which ship to choose is if I think we have to buy alcohol drink package at Anthem but not on Oasis / Allure.  For example both of us would like to drink 2 glasses of wine with lunch and dinner, and if I have understood correctly in oasis class ships when dining at the coastal kitchen we could get those drinks free from the suite lounge bar? In addition to that we would never drink enough to get the drink package ”worth it”. 😀 But what is the situation with Anthem? If we dine always at the Coastal Kitchen can we get free drinks? 

Can you get bottled sparkling water from the suite lounge? And can you take it to your room? 

Very thankful if someone could help me. 😀
