  1. We are "getting married" with NCL in May. We're exchanging vows and taking photos - but signing he papers when we get home (on my soon-to-be wife's parents anniversary). They were super chill on the phone with me. I told them I didn't want the wedding package - just the photographer and a quiet hour somewhere where we can take uninterrupted photos - they accommodated no problem (so far). Congratulations and know that no matter with whom you book - you'll have a great time.

Honestly, you might not get that bad of flight deals. I flew up to Toronto this summer from Orlando and RT was under $300.

It's looking moderately expensive as of right now, two people out of Toronto is 1300 return, and out of the Sault about 1600.
Out of Detroit, however, for 2 people is under $600, without luggage.. another $80pp both ways additional.

I feel like they're going to get nickle and dimed either way for their flights.

I feel bad because I hyped the cruise - and didn't realize the air promo was over..

Noting that you are from northern Ontario - the prime airport city would be Toronto and

alternate Montreal. Also I realize the air travel in Canada is not cheap - try across the border

and look for bargains check out options of Detroit and Chicago -

You did not indicate your cruise origin-destination to provide more help ideas options.

Hey! We are the same distance from us in the Sault to Toronto, and the Sault to Detroit. We're actually closer to Detroit/Windsor by about 2 hours.
If they book round trip from us to Miami, it's the same price as the cruise almost! So we either have to drive to an airport, or add a connection.

Our booking is complete - we're driving to Toronto & staying overnight, flying to Miami (paid the deviation) a day early, port on the 17th, and repeat that trek on the way back. We don't mind the drive so it's no big thing, but I also wouldn't be opposed to subbing Detroit for Toronto.

  4. Hi all!
First off, I recognize that the air isn't really free - but the discounted rate really works in our favour given where we are in Canada.
My partner and I are cruising May 2020 - but our best friends just decided they want to come - they missed the air promo.
We were just planning their cruise details - and wondering if we should hold off, should another free air promo come available.

    Thanks!

depending on the length of the cruise....and it is whatever number of meals for passengers 1 and 2

    Specialty Dining Package

    Sail Length # Of Dining
    Package Meals
    Retail Value 20% Gratuities
    3-4 Nights 1 $44.95 per person $8.99 per package
    5-6 Nights 2 $79 per person $15.80 per package
    7-8 Nights 3 $99 per person $19.80 per package
    9-10 Nights 4 $114 per person $22.80 per package
    11+ Nights 5 $129 per person $25.80 per package

Oh I understand that part - we're cruising for 5 nights and have "2 meal package" - so that would be considered 2 meals each (2 passengers)? I wasn't sure if it was 2 meals or 4, basically.

  6. Hi all -
I'm new to cruising NCL (we've cruised other lines), we did get the "Take All" package because we're Canadian, in the north, and the flights made it worth it for us. Anyways - our package says "2 meal dining package", am I to assume it's 2 meals per person or 2 meals. Eg. Can we eat a meal on two occasions, or are we offered each a meal on one occasion. I have combed the rules but it's not clarified anywhere. Thanks in advance, I really appreciate all the info on these forums.
