Which ship? We have this same case at the end of March getting off Reflection and going to Tampa to board Constellation.
Reflection to Millennium.

Yep, they are still testing. Just had a test today (Saturday) coming off one Celebrity ship and going to board another in two days (Monday).
Also it was neat to know they had zero cases from all the samples they had been collecting all week including the regular staff tests.

Someone must have heard ya, we ended up with sorbet last week on the Summit on a scorching sea day!

Excellent choice! I'm sure you'll both have a blast.

As hcat said, most obstructions are from lifeboats and davits (especially Deck 6). There are also spots throughout the ship's layout where some cabins step out, so that the receded cabins immediately next to it can see structures associated with that — and also count as obstructed as well I think. The completely unobstructed ones can be pretty neat since it literally feels like you're in a glass box flying over the sea.

Eden is also my pick for pre-dinner drinks.

With Celebrity, it seems the longer the cruise, the age skews older. But to be honest, the vibe of the cruise line does attract a diverse range of people, so it's not an exact science.
Dance lessons are taught by show cast members during the day. They range from partnered dances to line dances. I've rarely seen the ship completely dead at night, and there are at least some people cutting up the dance floor at the silent disco, or other late night events. As aforementioned, there is live music throughout the ship as well, so it's great to lounge and socialize to that. And pro-tip: the last bastion of nightlife before it extinguishes would be the Martini Bar.

I figured there was a huge increase in callers due to the existing sale they have on now and the fact that they were closed on January 1.
Yeah, I agree this was probably it. The new sale really changed the game for a lot of the upcoming sailings — must be a lot of re-faring and upgrade requests.

I remember trying to book it, but it was always too windy for them to actually run it my sailing (hence the app only, special/limited event). So from what I hear (and also after thinking about the logistics), it's food that is prepared in one of the kitchens and then quickly brought over, since the Magic Carpet has no galleys. I was even under the impression it was buffet-like, so having a family-style approach sounds definitely nicer.
It'd be one of those experiences, I'd probably walk into thinking it's more for the amazing views and novelty. If they can figure out a method of finishing plated dishes on-the-fly through some remote kitchen or technique, then that might be even amazing.
That said, I'm still curious to do it, one day, just to have that under my belt.

Wow, I didn't know they went out of business — it was so convenient to have something pre-booked and ready-to-go for the times we only wanted to bring carry-on onboard.

One of my favourite things to do on the S-class is grab a drink from the Sunset Bar and find a shaded seat by the lawn bowling area and read/people watch. Also, I find the World Class Bar is a great place to chat up the bartenders and socialize, especially if the Martini Bar is crowded and it's fun to drink through that menu (especially if you have the premium package).

Based on my experience December, it's pretty straight forward.
For that sailing, they closed off the area and only cruise-related traffic was allowed to pull into the wharf. Basically it looked like the parking spots for the wharf buildings became makeshift drop-off zones. Staff directed our driver to a location to let us off. Nearby was an area full of porters ready to receive larger luggage for check-in. Next to that, there was a building where they had set up for the usual security checks as well as another area with tables and laptops for getting your SeaPass card. So after a couple short lines and queues, there was just the gangway — and then we were sipping bubbles on the ship. We left our hotel and got there slightly after 11 a.m. and it wasn't too crowded. We were onboard by 11:25 a.m.

Oh, I didn't realize it was for each itinerary and not just the later sailings of a B2B! I guess I'll keep an eye out for future ones.

I enjoyed my Infinity cruise earlier this year in February. My experience with the restaurant service was great and bar service was good. I think I skipped most the stage entertainment in favour of lounging around near live music, so I don't have much feedback on that. With the crew's TLC, the ship herself is holding up extremely well for her age, but you do notice it — especially if the Edge pulls right up next to her. If your free cruise is a shorter Caribbean one, I'm sure it'll be a great fun with the more livelier/energetic crowd.

So that glad these boards exist! I was freaked out once the whole season disappeared — especially after I had gone on about the Tampa sailings to a friend!
Anyway, my February 2021 booking reappeared with the originally booked room.

I totally agree with that sentiment of reserving ahead with what you will be happy for each night for the peace of mind. Also, if you know you'd definitely want to revisit a place, you'll at least know you have a fallback if it's booked solid that night.
If you're also aiming to try each restaurants' unique signature dishes, I'd suggest booking the evening chic nights (or your favourite dished night) as a repeat venue. That way you don't feel as guilty grabbing off the unified portion of the menu.

Were you happy with that cabin?
It's a great room. No overhangs or anything that would obscure the view. At first I was slightly worried that there would be elevator-related noise but that didn't end up happening. I also think, since there is a concentration of suites nearby, there's overall less foot traffic as well.

I've never heard any noise from the suite balcony next door, so at least from my experience it isn't a concern.

Glad to report, 1 a.m. pizza still existed on my previous sailings earlier this year. 😁
