Watching with interest as there are 247 Canadians onboard one or the other ships.

Nobody can accurately answer that question. Any answer is simply a guess.

The Bahamas will not accept the ship.
This is a private island owned by Carnival. Not sure Bahamas has any powers over it,

Any updates on the status of the Zaandam off the coast of Chile?

When I purchased my cruise through a TA, I received a couple of on-board credits. Just over a week away from cruising and wondering when these credits will be reflected in “My Account”.

When making purchases in Carnival owned cruise ports and used by Holland America, specially in the Caribbean, like Half Moon Cay and Amber Cove, are purchases charged to your ship’s account or do you use cash or credit cards?

In check in, I provided my credit card particulars. For my wife, it shows her as being covered by my credit card account.

I can appreciate the objective of staggered boardings, but when you have to checkout of a hotel in the morning, you have to go somewhere. With a 2:30 pm boarding time, I’ll be going to the terminal hours before that time.

Once signed up for Club Orange, what do you get to identify yourself, as such, when checking in?

Don’t know what repairs you’re referring to, but it’s scheduled to sail on February 8.

How are you all getting dates more than a week away? I can't get the site to show me more than a week.
Never mind, I remembered how to do it.
The app I mentioned above covers the next 30 days. Never mind, I just saw your never mind.

Download the app “Cruise Schedule Port Everglades” The NA will be at Terminal 26.

What is the size of the designated smoking area on the Koningsdam. Are there tables and chairs?

White calf length athletic socks always look nice with shorts.
I agree with this opinion.
WITH CASUAL SHORTS
On a beautiful sunny day, it always feels like a good idea to put shorts on and head for a meander around town. However, given that sandals are often not the comfiest of footwear, many people instead opt for sneakers or something similar.
If you then match those sneakers with white socks, you are committing a mortal sin. Wearing bright white socks along with shorts is a big fashion no-no, and all eyes will be on your ensemble.

Do we need to carry our passports ashore for processing by customs and immigration in the countries of the ports of call?

Phone twice more you'll get different answers!
Maybe so. She put me on hold for quite a few minutes so she could speak to a supervisor. She said the discrepancy has been reported to IT. We’ll see.
Notwithstanding, I’ll speak to Guest Services once on-board.

I just did an online chat with HAL customer service and was informed the smoking of e cigarettes in state rooms is permitted.

From page 15 of Holland America's Know Before You Go:
SMOKING POLICY
E-cigarettes are permitted in staterooms, otherwise only in
designated smoking areas.
And yet the FAQ on the website says:
Electronic cigarettes are not permitted in staterooms or in other public areas of the ship other than designated smoking areas.

I believe account info is also available on the Navigator app once on-board.

I don't believe that will work, if you have booked through a travel agent. It will just say "Contact your Booking Agency."
Since I always book with a TA, I don't see the OBC until I see the final accounting at the end of the cruise. But there may be another way to see it that I am not aware of.
I would rather get it settled early in the cruise to avoid a possible hassle at the end of the cruise.

Further research revealed on board credits will appear if you booked with HAL and not with a TA. They are reflected in my Booking Confirmation so I will ensure I take a copy with me to present to Guest Services.
