How far is Castaways from the port?

How far by taxi is Jackie O's and are taxis readily available back to the ship? Do you have to book ahead?

Has anyone had the issue of being turned away at a Sandals if they are sold out of day passes? Is this common? They advise calling 2 days ahead, but we will be on the ship that week?

Any pictures of Kakao? Also to which direction head once we are dropped off at Orient?

We have been to St. Maarten several times, but never to Orient Beach. Is seaweed and strong waves an issue there this year so far- we are heading out there mid-Feb? Went to Cancun last year- beaches & water were covered, couldn't even swim, it was so thick! Just want to be able to swim this year :D

How far is Sandals Grande from the port?

We are taking a morning excursion for 3 hours, and then want to go to a nice beach not far from the port for a few hours. Preferably, not to busy, with maybe some shade or umbrellas/beach restaurant. Looking at Runaway Bay, Valley Church (been to Dickenson before) - any other ideas/opinions?

Just wondering opinions on the beach where the BBQ is at for swimming if any time? Also the food?

We enjoyed the tour very much Joshua was a great guide, but other guides were not very good at all (I was told) barely speaking to their passengers over the 4 hour trip. Majority of the tour is riding in a 3 row SUV, with a few stops to see locations/fruit.

Please explain if you are a lowly "Gold" member on RCCL, if you show up early - will they turn you away??

Didn't really have anything particular in mind, just curious. We will do a morning tour then Sandcastles in the afternoon and possibly a little shopping on the way back to the ship.

Not sure if we will go to the St James distillery after our morning tour or not, usually just kind of wing it depending on time/distance.
