I think you mean, "It's included in the price of every other cruise line."

MSC charges extra for plenty of things and that is part of what keeps their cruise prices low.

No, that is NOT what I said, nor what I meant. Mini golf has no cost associated with it. It just sits there day and night and you don’t need staff to watch over it. It is free in the same way that using the pool and hot tubs are free.

Well there is a difference between the App using the camera to take a photo while applying, versus taking a photo beforehand and uploading it. If it is the latter then there is an extra step before starting the App.

You are arguing over semantics. Get a grip.

I'm happy to read this.  We have booked a 6 night on the Panorama in February 2024 and the itinerary only stops in Cabo (2 days) and Ensenada (1 day).  I was starting to get worried that I may have picked the wrong itinerary!  I will be traveling with my husband and two older teens.  Even though we live on the northern California coast and see the migrating whales twice a year, they certainly don't party here so that will be exciting 😉

Cabo is my favorite port BY FAR in the Mexican Riviera.

    The food:

We had early assigned dinning and ended up between two tables with four people on each side. We got lucky and had wonderful people on both sides. It wasn't long before we had them all ordering banana splits. The highlights were the filet on the 1st formal night, the short ribs, the fried oysters, hot soups in general, and the salads.

There are still no port menus or table cloths. Our team of servers were on it for the most part, but did forget us for a few minutes on the second formal night. But they did feel bad about it.

They brought out brownies for our special anniversary dessert, a day early. They had this thing where they wanted us to "kissy-kissy" at the end of each line in the song. On the third kissy-kissy the hubby went for a full-dip kiss. Cracked the team up. Being full we took the brownies back to our room. They were excellent.

We tried Guy's burgers, Blue Iguana Tacos, & the deli. The burgers were okay, but could live with out chili powder on the fries. The tacos are solid. The Deli was hit or miss, hot dogs excellent, steak sandwich gross.

Pro-tip: When in doubt ask your server for a recommendation. Would have missed the short ribs if I didn't.

The steak sandwiches are pre-made with horseradish. Incredibly stupid idea because literally *EVERYONE* was asking them to remove it, which obviously they couldn’t.

You also didn’t mention that the buffet has a free gelato bar. I think it was sea days only? I really enjoyed mixing in a bunch of different toppings.

    Ollies  4hr tour  $85 PP

    Gem  4hr  $250   for 2

    I would  take the  tour

We are there in Oct  so not sure  what we will do  depends on the weather

They must have just raised the prices then. At the time of my previous post, it was around $150 for 4 hours.

WE did the GEM car last August!   rented a 2 seater for 4 hours, took the Acadia National Park loop at our leisure and all over Bar Harbor!  It was the best part of our entire cruise!

I was planning to do this exact thing this upcoming October. So you found 4 hours to be enough for Acadia National Park? We would probably only do the loop and stop at the visitors center.

We sailed the Carnival Miracle out of SF last May. The demographics were similar to Royal Caribbean. Younger, more diverse crowd than most other lines. Lots of activities especially on the pool deck.  Good bar scene for mixed drinks and craft beer. Hit or miss on wine quality but you can bring on one bottle per adult. Food was solid in the MDR and buffet. Excellent service. Sea day brunch was a treat, don’t miss it. Guy’s burgers and fries were good and the taco joint was decent. Casino was hopping. Pizza Pirate made to order pizza was good, too. The seafood corner that you pay extra for in the buffet is best avoided. The balcony room was spacious.

Hey, we ALSO sailed Carnival Miracle out of SF last May!! 😃 One of the best trips of my life.

Hi, We've done 40+ with RCI, we are going to do a Celebrity cruise later this year but have seen a great itinerary on Carnival from Singapore to LA.

Has anyone cruised Carnival and can advise whether it's comparable, I've heard good and bad but want 1st hand experiences to help decide.

Usually would sail RCI but have to look at other lines to see different parts of the world.

    TIA.

My family loves Carnival. Good food, good entertainment, and best of all, good prices.
