If you are in a "full" suite & you are on a "royal" ship (Royal Princess & newer) there should be a concierge lounge which is accessed by suite dwellers.  Following a FB live thread, & that OP mentions grabbing a diet Coke each from the concierge lounge each day before heading to the sanctuary.  It's one of the many perks for full suites.

Did it with 3 devices in 2 cabins.  Worked great on Caribbean Princess Medallion cruise this past summer.  My S-I-L said it was the most economical option. (DH has a flip phone so obviously he wasn't interested in WiFi ha ha.)

Yes, our visit is a port stop on a cruise that ends in Quebec City.

Will be spending 12 hours in NYC, docking at the Red Hook cruise terminal.

Wondering how close that is to the nearest subway stop.  

Would appreciate any pointers you have for someone from a small town with zero public transportation.

We'll want to get to/from the Times Square vicinity.

Our Princess cruise will be stopping in New York City for 1 day as part of our Colonial America/Canada cruise next July. 

A member of the roll call indicated if a Princess cruise isn't originating or ending in NYC, they dock in Manhattan rather than Red Hook, Brooklyn.

Can anyone else verify if this is the case?  It would make a significant difference in our DIY excursions.

The departure point for most of the Island Explorer routes is the Bar Harbor Town Green. The Town Green is about 2 blocks up Main St from the tender dock. There is no cost because it is a free public bus provided by the LL Bean Corp.

 

There is only one pickup point, the Town Green, within walking distance of the tender dock.

We were there several years ago. We walked inland & there WAS a place we picked up a shuttle that took us through the park. The cost was minimal.

Maybe you could Google either Bar Harbor or the Park to learn about pickup spots within walking distance of the pier.

Does anyone know which side of the ship passes by the Statue of Liberty? (Port or Starboard)

Or perhaps it is one side sailing in and the other sailing out?

Yes. It ended on the Regal at the end of the last (eastern) cruise; not offered this week.
