We recently booked a Princess cruise with a guaranteed balcony to get a better price than if we had chosen a balcony. This is the first time we have ever done this and are curious to hear about your experience with doing this. Pros and Cons please. Thanks.

We are looking at a Mexican Riviera cruise and are trying to decide between Princess or Carnival. Does anyone have any recommendations, thoughts, suggestions?
