shareholderbenefit@rccl.com.  Sent along with my broker statement and within 2 days received confirm.  Also, checked the amount in the cruise planner.  I was having a problem as only $100 in OBC showed.  I knew that the on board booking OBC was missing and after some 15 minutes on the phone it was resolved as the agent had to clear with their resolution dept.

Please be sure to include: Name of ship. Sail date and Reservation # in your e-mail.

    Thank you!

  2. HI!  We are relatively new to Princess Cruises (only 2 sailings so far on Princess).  The last time we were on board we bought two of the medallion holders - the type you clip on to something and a lanyard.  I am currently looking for a locket style necklace or bracelet style that will hold the medallion.  I have looked on ET__ and can't tell if the ones I see will fit the medallion.

Does anyone have any experience with this and/or any recommendations?  Thanks in advance!

  3. We think JR has gone downhill.  Their onion rings used to be good and have real onions, now they are just fried bits of onion and don't taste like onion rings at all.  For the price, I would skip JR.

BTW - If the BOGO applies for meals in JR varies by ship.  In some you can use the BOGO for the meal and on other ships you cannot.  If you have the Unlimited Dining Package, JR is included.

I will be on the Oasis in July and have been to Nassau before but cannot recall if RCCL has any one to assist when get off the ship to take you to the place where you can get taxis. Does anyone know?

I have never been on a ship that docked in Cape Canaveral.   We intend to take the bus to Disney.   Will this be an issue for me getting to it?

     Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you.

Cape Canaveral is easy with a scooter or a walker/cane.  The terminals have elevators that will hold two scooters (large size).  There are ramps in all curb areas.  There port area is very mobility friendly.

You should, however, keep in mind that if you plan to take a taxi, Uber, or Lift from the port area, you will want to make arrangements ahead of time (depending on your walker size).  If you cruise is now or through till October, please remember that this is our low tourist season and there are not as many services being offered.

Additionally, Port Canaveral has several dock areas.  RCCL has it's own terminal that is convenient to some shopping and restaurant and bars ( a slight walk is needed).  There is, however, times when Royal docks at the Carnival terminal.  That terminal is not near anything within walking distance.  Day stops on cruises out of NY/Bayonne often use this terminal as they have a port day on the same day that a Royal ship is docked at their port on a turn-around day.

    Hope this helps!

We were in Allure for the August 14th sailing.  The positional map was not on TV. I asked and they said there were technical difficulties they were trying to resolve.  They were not available throughout the cruise.  Are they working on other cruises?  Would be a shame if they do away with these.

They were available last week on the Oasis on channel 3 on the TV.

  6. Plan on an hour from the time you get into a van/Uber etc to reach MCO.  It is highway the entire way but it can back-up especially if you are docking during a weekday.

You can also look at flying in/out of Melbourne (MLB) which is 35 minutes from the port and a lot less congested than MCO.  Sometimes the rates are the same and it is a lot less stress to fly into and out of MLB.

This may give you the info you are looking for regarding shuttle services:

One thing I would NOT recommend is trying to get a rental car and drive it yourself.  The car rental agencies around the port back up severely on port days and you can wait a long time to get a car even with a reservation.
