  1. We booked our February 3 Edge cruise onboard another Celebrity cruise after an Edge presentation.  The IV cabins were misrepresented in that presentation because in no part of the presentation was a window mentioned.  The fold back doors were explained as opening up the room so the balcony became part of the room and one could lay on the bed and feel like the outside was part of your bedroom.  From videos I have seen posted , the IV cabin seems more like an ocean view cabin with a larger window!  The balcony seems so closed in compared to the traditional veranda cabins on other Celebrity ships.  Trying to keep an open mind and reserve judgement til we can experience everything for ourselves.

  2. Usually sail on Celebrity, but did sail on NCL Breakaway last spring. Will not go on NCL again--upcharges for everything! Entertainment was poor! Seats in theater were so uncomfortable. Pool area was so small; no adult only pool. Food in "no extra charge" dining rooms was fairly good but not as good as BLU on Celebrity. Embarkation on NCL in NYC was horrendous!

  3. Just realized we have the same issue on March 4. Last August we had booked an 11:35 a.m. flight to Philadelphia but now see that our flight was changed to 10:10 a.m. It is an entirely different flight # so I am assuming our flight was removed from the schedule? Never received an e-mail notifying us. We never would have booked a flight this early. Hoping that we can make this flight.

  4. just wondering the approx. cost per couple of the thermal suite pkg on a 7-day Alaska cruise I have read that reservations need to be made on embarkation day while others reported that they did so in advance via a call to Guest Services. I remember one post indicating price is usually better on Embarkation day. This will be our first cruise on Holland America. Interested in hearing about others' experiences. Thanks.
