Ok so I may have got a full refund?but have not lost any money it's in P&Os bank a/c ready for Iona next May.Might have spent it if it was in my bank.

If your chosen cruise costs more than your FCC you will have to pay the difference .

He felt P&O would not accept it this early due to ever changing circumstances.

Hi all .Have come to the sad decision that my best choice is to cancel my June 20th cruise on Iona and lose my £100 deposit .Then I can book with another cruise line using my £2000 balance.Not sure but I think that's me done with P&O.Very sad as we have always cruised P&O for the last ten years (up to 2/3 per year).

Hi on Azure to the med (Portugul & Spain)14 nights but TA requires full payment in 8 days so just over a week and counting .

Ok have until 15th March to make my decision,pay £2000.00 balance,move cruise to next year or cancel and lose £100.00.Just not sure.This is a cruise on Iona with a aft balcony looking out over the stern to get a great view of both sides of the fjords in June.

Yes just had a look and the price in cabin close to mine same grade £760 more for 2 so not practical .But can book same cabin in 2021 same week same price I paid.(still not sure what to do)

With the caveat that this was BEFORE Final Payment I think P & O were very generous. They took my concerns very seriously and were understanding once I explained I did not want to be stuck in Southampton unsure how to get back North and I felt their policy of not refunding if I was denied boarding was very unfair.

 

They have cancelled my cruise and I can use the deposit to rebook any time up to a year from today for any cruise from two years from today.

 

Not bad in my opinion.

 

of course I do really feel for people that are past final payment but I don’t think it was too shabby treatment

Hi all ,Just had a chat to my travel insurance (AA)policy is with AXA silver cover .They have confirmed by their technical team that if I am denied boardind on the advise of a medical professional (P&O Doctor ?)I can claim on my policy.(If I was unaware of the and did not have the Kung Flu when I took out the policy I am covered.Full steam ahead
