Unless you go and ask for one it is emailed to you.

I must be one of the lucky ones with this app!
I have no issues whatsoever with it and my next cruise in June has all the information correctly recorded, including my recently purchased Plus package, my booked excursions and all of my dining reservations. The same applies to my wife's copy of the app.

The new shuttle stop in Valencia is at the Science Museum near L’Oceanografic.
It's then a very, very long walk along the old river bed, now a park, to the city centre or catch a local bus when dropped of the shuttle.

The timings cannot be guaranteed and frequently ships have been held up waiting for excursions that have been delayed for traffic conditions etc.
I think you know the answer.............

ya, but you wouldn't do it as often.
Why?
25% tip is exactly the same as 25% added to restaurant prices and no tip.

Honest Britannia reviews please?
An unfortunate title for your first forum post!
You only want honest reviews, suggesting that you consider some or many of them are dishonest?

which one is going first and when do you think.
I don't think about it at all.
Both ships are superb and I will continue to cruise on them as long as they survive.

I would like to start making payments
If that was me, and I live in the UK, I would start paying, definitely NOT to Princess but into a savings account where it would gain interest!

do people give out extra to the cabin steward and to the waiters in the main dining room on the last day?
Never.

Do you ever leave a specialty restaurant without leaving a tip?
On a cruise - always!

If anyone decides to try it out
I'm quite happy with the existing one but equally as happy to try out the new one when it arrives. My next cruise isn't due till after the new app arrives so I might as well get used to it.

Was this loyalty earned before 2017?
Some before and some after.

Princess eliminated P&O counting toward Princess loyalty many years ago

Sorry if I was not clear, my question was the other way.
Perfectly clear, I only replied because it certainly worked one way so could, possibly, work the other. Even if you have to ask P&O.

I booked my first Princess cruise a few months back and my P&O loyalty was transferred to Princess although my wife's wasn't. An email resolved that and we now both have loyalty awarded on our first Princess cruise.

As an indication of how scared we were we have cancelled our next Princess cruise and lost a lot of money.
If it was that serious why aren't you warning us all about it?

purchase spirits and cigarettes on board (with/without OBC), then sell at a profit onshore.
Judging by some of the prices advertised in the duty free shop on Britannia recently, if I'd tried that I could have made a loss! I can't remember the exact price but Baileys, for example, is about £5 cheaper in Iceland (the shop!).

If you purchase the Princess Plus (or Premier for that matter), are the drinks free (up to $15 each)? Or is it $15 / pp / per day?
$15 per drink upto 15 drinks per day per person.

My wife and I had four items of luggage so would have needed a lift to get down from the 12th Deck.
Judging by the queues for the lifts on the final morning we would still have been waiting to get off when the normal disembarkation started!

What did you find so exceptional?
We've been cruising on Britannia since it was first launched, as well as other ships.
My wife and I, and the passengers that shared our Club Dining table commented on the vast improvement to the dining since covid.
I can't really remember precisely what we had, each night, but all of us found at least one, if not more, choices of starter, main course and sweet that suited us and all were always cooked too perfection.
The cruise itself was one of the best we have had in recent years, spoilt to a degree, by penny pinching. Like having to ask for biscuits to be left in the cabin, a lack of speakers in the daytime, repetitive showing of the same films in The Studio, all aimed at an age group much lower than the ships average and, finally, a shuttle service to Valencia that left us about 2 miles away from the town centre without guidance.

Personally I really enjoyed the MDR food last time I used P and O on Iona.
Just come back from a cruise on Britannia and the food in the MDR was exceptional. The best we've had for years and the service was brilliant.

Who are P&Os rivals?
in UK Cruisers
Posted · Edited by Pine Man
P&O, in my opinion, have gone downhill since covid. I would suggest that most other cruise lines are not a sideways move but forward of P&O in most respects. The only saving grace for P&O is the price as far as I'm concerned.
