Here are screenshots of 3 of them. There's a difference.

I don't' think those are accurate because they are listed as the same size as a regular deluxe balcony and those sizes generally include the balcony, plus the photo is a stock photo for a normally configured deluxe balcony. 14103 and 14203 (an accessible room) look about the same size on the map, but 14103 is listed at the generic 236 sq. feet vs 318 for the other one.

Oh ok, so you booked the cabins across from each other? Looking at the deck plans it seems like a long walk from one side to the other but depending on which family members are traveling with you that might not be such a bad thing 😉

Sorry, next to each other 14102/14104, so a nice big space in any case.

I haven’t seen interior photos but pictures from outside the ship show that the balconies are quite buried under the bridge. My worry was it would make the cabins very dark and limit visibility and photos from the balcony, so I chose not to book any of them.

We have 14101 and 14102 booked for July on the first of a two week cruise, switching for the second week as they were not available. Will be interesting to see. Hopefully will have photos from someone soon.

  4. My son upgraded the app and since then his booking is lost. If you log in on a computer it's there and when you call they confirm it's there but it doesn't show on the app (old or new) and when you try to use the web version of the app it says there is no booking. They are working on it but said in general to use the old app until February.

  5. You enter the booking number after it has been approved. Once it's approved, it doesn't have to be done again, or maybe not for a certain amount of time. Mine couldn't be read from doing it directly so they had me choose Fidelity (even though that is not my company) and upload it manually and it was approved within two days. Then you go to Princess on the app and it will allow you to put in your booking number and you will get an email in a couple of days saying the credit is on your booking.

I called yesterday. They have 3 different tests they do. One of the goes out. The other 2 results come back in 2-24 hours. But they only schedule the tests like 2 days a week.

We scheduled the Rapid test about four days ahead, they seem to open the schedule about four days out. had the results within an hour of taking them. Only issue was they can only do two tests at a time as the machine holds two samples so we had to wait about 30 minutes and then do the other two.

  7. Just received this from my TA:

    Action Required

    • Please review the information below regarding Princess’ latest update for your sailing.
    • Due to the rise in positive COVID-19 cases throughout Alaska, all guests will be required to wear face masks at all times while indoors on board during your cruise, except when eating or drinking or in their own staterooms.
      • Masks are also required on all cruise line- sponsored transportation, such as motorcoaches and rail.
    • There is no need to call - as a reminder, the latest health and safety protocols can be found at:  https://www.princess.com/plan/cruise-with-confidence/cruise-health/frequently-asked-questions/us-cruises/
  8. Just saved about $2000.00 on my August 10th Med. sailing. We have a family veranda with five of us in the room. The rate for the first two went up, but passengers 3-5 are free except the $72.00 in taxes each. Still was able to receive the free bev. package too. Only thing I lost from the original booking was a $100.00 on board credit from an early booking promotion.
