Oakland it is. Disembarkation to take several days. CA residents taken somewhere in state, others sent to locations around the country. 

Water and protective supplies. No other info Captain back on at 9. 

Looks like it may just be supplies.  Or tests.

Golden Gate Bridge in sight.  Ship just came to complete stop.

A few more miles eastward and people on the upper decks should be able to get reception on cell phones from cell towers at higher elevations in Daly City.

No cell service yet but land in sight.

I'm hesitant to draw the conclusion that the ship is definitely headed to the SF Bay Area, because I was wrong yesterday. The next several hours will be interesting to watch.

Interesting. My parents TV went out right before press conference. No channels work.

I know!  Found a link on YouTube so they could stream it anyhow. Ridiculous. 

Ship cut off news channels as Pence started to speak. Had to FaceTime with parents so they could hear the news!

Thanks.  They are fine, just starting to get a bit stir crazy.

Helicopter is back picking up the CDC folks that have been there all afternoon.  Parents are on board...
