Does anyone know if they are planning on booking fewer people on the first few cruises? Or are they filling up their ships to capacity like they normally would in a world without a pandemic?

So, I'm not seeing anything official about the cancellations. Nothing on their website, facebook page, twitter page, or anything else. My reservation still shows me sailing in 3 days as well.
Trump's tweet are not always accurate, so I'd like to see something more official. Our flight is tonight...

We're leaving on the Conquest on Monday morning, and we're definitely concerned about whether or not it will be canceled on us before then. 😬
Our flight leaves tonight to fly to Miami with our 4 kids... hoping for the best! This is our very first cruise, and so far it's been an adventure! 😆

I bought quite a few of both Norwegian (at $16.79) and Carnival (at $21.60) yesterday morning... but wow, they sure did drop again today (lost 30% of the value)! Unfortunately I'm out of money now, so I can't buy any more. 😝
These companies have had some really crazy price drops over the past few weeks! I guess people just think that no one will ever cruise, ever again? It boggles the mind.

My price has dropped by $1000 (leaving next Monday), but because I've already paid and I didn't sign up as an early saver (or something like that) they won't give me any OBC for it. 😞

Did you call your TA directly? Are you past final payment date? If so, what is your cancelation fee? It might be worth eating the cancelation fee, and rebooking for $1000 less.
Only Early Saver allows price reduction after final payment.
First I called Carnival, and they went over all of the numbers and told me that I'd be getting $xxx in OBC, but they said I had to do it through CostcoTravel. So, I called CostcoTravel and waited on hold for 4 hours (no joke), only to hear that the cruise line wouldn't do it because I didn't have early saver tickets.
I bought our tickets in January, and the cruise is this next Monday. We paid in full at the time of booking, so we're past the final payment date.
I'm not out anything extra, so I don't feel ripped off or anything like that, it was just fun to think that maybe there was a possibility of some extra cash on the boat! 🤑 -
Nice! My cruise is currently selling for $1000 less than when I purchased it in January, but they say that they won't give us any credit because our ticket isn't the right type for it. 😞 We bought through CostcoTravel.
Fewer people on the first few cruises?

That would be fantastic. Our family has our first cruise (ever) scheduled to leave on November 2nd, and if it does by some miracle go ahead as scheduled I'm happy to hear that it's running at a limited capacity.
