We are heading out on Symphony tomorrow and wanted to know if anyone can remember/recommend a particular bartender or bar? Hopefully they would not be in quarantine. We like Old Fashioned, Manhattan and some specialty martinis.

Great thanks!

I noticed on the app that gym reservations are required. Does anyone know if they can be reserved on the app when boarded or in the gym?

I am ready to mask-up and board Symphony for New Year's. Been almost 2 years and gotta get back out there. Maybe this will reduce passenger count to under 4000???

We will be on an 8 day Symphony departing New Year's Eve. Will Xmas decorations still be up?

Thanks mercadomaria.
I understand they vary but given that it is open Pacific and there are more storms in that area at this time of year was just wondering if it is more rough than not.

I will be on the Miracle in 12 days for first trip to Mexican Riviera. Can anyone give me info about what sea conditions might be like? I know there are hurricanes in the area sometimes so the waves may be high. We are mid-ship and not prone to seasickness but just wondering.

They just tweeted "No impact to current or future itineraries."
That's good. We board in May and I was getting worried.

Great detailed review and good timing. We leave for same itinerary in less than 3 weeks. Will you please send me the Compasses? eric@ecoa.us
Thanks in advance,
Eric

I have not been on RCCL in a few years but about to do a 12 day in Mediterranean. Does anyone know if spinach is available in the Windjammer for salads? I am not an iceberg lettuce guy.

Thanks. We are planning on getting there by 10:30 so that will be perfect.

I have FTTF on Triumph departing out of Galveston in October. I know certain things can delay boarding but I would like to know people's experiences with FTTF departing from this port. What times have you been able to board?
-
I got the call yesterday to upgrade to Ocean Suite from Balcony for $510. If there were more than two of us in room I might have considered. Did not take bait. This was for 5 night on Triumph departing Galveston on October 6th.

Ugh. That is what I feared - the dreaded 6/5. I'll drop a little in there but I see a lot more blackjack in my future.
-
I will be on Triumph in October (first Carnival) and would like to know if any of you know the payout tables for video poker? I usually play Double-Double Bonus. I know it will be much worse than Vegas.
-
I am on Triumph (first time on Carnival) leaving on 26th and will be frequenting the casino. What are the current table minimums for blackjack, craps and 3-card? Do they change as it gets busier?
-
I like the idea of pulling chips off. Have done that a few times in Vegas when winning.
-
I am used to searching the casino floor for the best paying video poker. I know it can sometimes vary quite a bit in the same casino.
Are points earned on table games?
-
Thanks. I do blackjack mainly with a little craps and 3-card thrown in. Nice to get some free drinks which is more than I could get from RCL or Princess.
I play Double-Double video poker as well. 6/5 payout is equivalent to Vegas airport numbers...not good at all. Oh well, maybe I will get a big one to negate the payout numbers. Gotta play.
-
I have heard that Carnival has a good rewards program in Casino. Do you accumulate points on the table games besides slots/video poker? Any video poker players out there - are the pay tables good? I am going on first Carnival Cruise on Triumph (6 on Royal 2 on Princess) on the 26th.
-
Thanks for all of the suggestions! I have a lot of research to do in the next week.
Cheers!

Hello,
My wife and I are on Navigator of the Seas leaving out of Miami on June 3rd. Does anyone know of any good locally based excursions that include a little bit of everything? I have heard that the shopping and beaches are great.
Thanks
