The lack of customer service since the resilient lady cancellations has been terrible.

A company trying to target young people should not be uncontactable online, their live chat doesn’t work and no one answers on social media.

My cruise was rebooked to my chosen itinerary but i got no 200% FVC even though i am eligible, but trying to get hold of them since then to discuss has been impossible.

This episode could be a dealbreaker now to be honest when deciding who to sail with in the future.

Ahoy jamesv2811, could you let us know what platform your DM'd us on and what your username is? We'll look into this for you.

Why did they send a pdf that included 2023 cruises, if we can only use the Access key for 2022 voyages?  It is very misleading.

Ahoy On Lido Deck, the impacted Resilient Lady bookings are for itineraries from August 2022 through early May 2023. We provided the PDF so Sailors could have an idea of other itineraries that are available during the time frame of their booking that might've been cancelled. This way they can use their Future Voyage Credit (FVC) to rebook on similar dates if they prefer.

Yes, it definitely seems possible when I log into my account. I read elsewhere on social media that you can also convert unused Future Voyage Credit into Sailor Loot, but I haven't seen that anywhere official. If I pay my current one in full, I'll have lots leftover with 200% FVC. But if I can use that for excursions, spa, booze, etc. it gives me even more incentive for me to pay in full now. They get the benefit of having my money for another year and know I'll spend with them eventually.

Ahoy periodic itinerant, our Discount FVC can only be applied towards your voyage fare. While the rest of your FVC can be applied towards any charges except for Bar Tab and Voyage Protection. Our Sailor Services Crew will be able to let you know how much of each FVC you have in your Sailor account.

    Does anyone know:

    (1) if we bought travel insurance, do we get that back?

    (2) if we got JLo "Booty" on board credit, will that transfer to a new cruise we book?

Ahoy evilcocobean, yes, Voyage Protection will be refunded for impacted bookings. And, yes, we will also be honoring your JLo Sailor Loot (aka onboard credit).

You can also submit a request for your preferred offer by following this link: https://virg.in/ocYe

Sorry if this is a silly question, but I'm not sure I understand how the future voyage credit works. Do I have to use it all on one cruise and one stateroom or can I save it for later? Can I buy a second stateroom on the same sailing with it? Use it as on-board credit? I can't find much info about how it works other than how much you get. Not much I can find on redemption. I'm trying to figure out if we can use this 200% to treat some friends of ours to a free cruise.

Ahoy elynbeth, our Discount FVC can only be applied towards your voyage fare. While the rest of your FVC can be applied towards any charges except for Bar Tab and Voyage Protection. Our Sailor Services Crew will be able to let you know how much of each FVC you have in your Sailor account.

We have a cruise already booked this October 2022 on Scarlet Lady. If we take the 200% FVC from the 2023 Resilient Lady cancellation, can I apply it to the 2022 Scarlet Lady cruise? Or is that FVC applicable only to new bookings?

Ahoy Robbie, yes, you are able to do this. You would need to contact us to request a cancellation and refund before applying the FVC towards your sailing. Please note, we have an extremely high call volume at the moment with extended wait times.

So I could book a 4-night out of Miami using the FVC and use the Access Key for a 5-night, which would create a B2B booking for a total of 9-nights?

Nine nights on a back-to-back and two chances to experience The Beach Club at Bimini 🏝

Glad you're here. I wasn't booked until 2023 and cannot sail in 2022. Plans and vacation time already planned. If I'm correct, then I'm out of luck to get comped since I can't book in 2022. That does not seem fair. I'll probably just take my money back and go elsewhere.

Ahoy, if your sailing in 2023 was impacted by our delays you can still choose our Double Your Value offer (200% Future Voyage Credit based on your paid voyage fare).

     Virgin, so is this correct?

    Get 200% FVC

Then, use that FVC to book a 2022 cruise at anytime

With 2022 cruise booked, you'll also get a Access Key for a 2022 voyage

So essentially two cruises in 2022?

    Yes, that's all correct

I could be wrong, but I think it works like this.. 200% credit towards a new cruise, and if you book by July 31 then you will get an access key for a sea terrace or above room on an additional cruise (still have fees and taxes to pay.)

Anyone more cruise savvy correct me if I'm wrong...cause right now that sounds like a too good to be true deal.

Ahoy! To receive an Access Key Sailors must use a portion of their Future Voyage Credit (FVC) for a sailing in 2022. The Access Key must also be used for a sailing in 2022.

Delayed to May 2023.  MerMaiden voyage now May 14, 2023 (Greek Island Glow).

Ahoy! While Resilient Lady's first commercial sailing is now May 14, 2023, we have not yet set a date for our showcase events and celebrations. Stay tuned to our social profiles and email newsletter for more updates.

I’ve never been on a a cruise before and I think I’m virgins demographic (35 couple no kids disposable income etc) currently on board for the NYE sailing and I’m thoroughly miserable about it. I would strongly urge anybody thinking about booking VV not to bother. It’s been absolutely awful so far. We arrived at the port yesterday at 1:45 and didn’t get on board the ship until after 5pm. We stood in hours and hours of lines, no communication, outside in the heat at some points, no water offered, nowhere to sit, total shambles, no apology at the end for the hours and hours we’d just stood waiting with no idea of how long we had left to wait. By the time we got on board we’d missed the safety briefings so I’ve got no idea where to go/ what to do in the case of an emergency. We missed dinner because we were so exhausted but even if we hadn’t been I wouldn’t have been able to find my reservation because the app isn’t working. For the 3 minutes it worked last night I was able to see every single show on every single night had already been booked so for the next couple of nights it looks like we’ll have no option. The app still isn’t working this morning but I’m so disengaged with this whole experience by this point that I can’t even be bothered going down to sailor services to see if they could fix it. My friend has been charged $250 to their credit card- no idea what this is for because we can’t check the app.

Overall, awful service to the point that I’d never book another cruise with this company or any other.

Ahoy, we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, and we're sorry to hear that your voyage didn't meet your expectations. From what you've described, we agree, this isn't what it means to set sail the Virgin Way. We're always looking for new ways to improve the Sailor experience, and we'd love to speak with you directly to learn more. If you're open to it, please send us a message with your name, booking info, a contact number, and the best time for us to give you a call. We look forward to hearing from you again

In a nutshell, booked two years ago three cabins all next to each other so family could be close. Come to find out they switched up our rooms last minute apparently due to “cabin modifications” and now we are far apart. They won’t do anything besides making us pay for their unsolicited changes ($900/room since no inside cabins close to sea terrace cabin). Additionally, my husband no longer able to come due to family emergency. Due to some “coupon” applied to my husband’s account which I have no idea about, they are saying we OWE $302 to take my husband off the trip. What????? Makes zero sense. Beware anyone looking to book on Virgin. They have done nothing but upset us three days before we sail. I’m so disappointed.

Hi, can you send us a message with your full name and booking # so we can look into this for you.
