  1. Hi All,  Christian Herrera was our personal guide in Santiago Chile in January 2024.  He was prompt, professional and most importantly made us feel comfortable.  As noted in this thread, he has very good English and tailored our trip to our specific needs, while having many suggestions for us. Also, he provided pickup at the airport and dropoff at the ship port in San Antonio. Great service, highly recommend!

Here is the information that I received from HAL guest services last week:

The price for the 7 day Premium Internet Package if purchased pre-cruise is $109.99 USD, if purchased onboard, the price is $139.99 USD.

The price for a 21 day Premium Internet Package is purchased pre-cruise is $239.99 USD, if purchased onboard, the price is $299.99 USD.

I am sailing on a 21 day cruise in a couple of weeks.  If I purchase the Premium package now, it is $291.99.

  3. I noticed several of you are sailing a BTB cruises prior to November.  I’m looking into booking BTB Mexican and California coast in October on the Koningsdam.  I talked with a Holland rep yesterday and another one today that told me I couldn’t book BTB cruises until November 1st.  Does anyone have any other info?  Not sure what I can do?

  4. my husband and I are thinking about booking the Noordam pacific crossing in April. We have never booked an inside cabin, we are thinking about it for this cruise. Can you give advice on the J cabins on the main deck vs I 8049?

    Thanks for your input!

  5. I am trying to determine whether the family cabanas on the Koningsdam have loungers for 4. It does not matter whether it is 4 single loungers or 2 double loungers. I have tried to find a photo but have been unsuccessful. If anyone has any first hand experience or photos I would appreciate it. Thanks so much for any help

No they do not. There is an open area that has loungers, but the family cabana has two single loungers and two chairs. The cabanas on this ship are smaller than the other ships, it was very disappointing for us.
