I do not think that they offer balcony dining on NCL - if they do, I was not in the market last I cruised before COVID 😅 Have you seen the balcony dining offered on Princess’ Suites? Oh my gosh, what lucky folks!!

Seconding (or maybe thirding) the Hyatt Place. It is so convenient to FLL and the port! 😃

I am so sorry you came down sick with Covid and hope you and yours are doing well and on the roads to recovery. I’m trying to get back into cruising, but still so hesitant due to varying protocols. I am also sure that being sick only exacerbated the other less than favorable conditions on the ship. Can you comment on any of the services received while ill on board?

I think NCL should require all passengers to have the vaccine or get it prior to boarding. No other way to safely cruise!!! This will be a huge blow to their business, but peace of mind is priceless. 

So sorry to hear of your husbands passing. I agree the Epic is better overall for some of the reasons stated above; however, due to memories associated with your last cruise I would suggest starting fresh with the Dawn. Epic will be there for you when the time is right.
