I appreciate this feedback. I’m getting no discount on this suite. At $1000 per person per day I would expect I could have peace and quiet in my room and at least on part of my deck.  Just curious I would have thought to ask the SEM. Is there a reason you didn’t ?

We knew the Entertainment Director and Cruise Director from previous cruises and mentioned the noise from the DJ to them as they look after the DJ which they said that they would sort.

Thanks for posting this. Boy it’s pretty loud on the balcony facing MUTS. And not quite enough even on the balcony facing Sanctuary.  I am in the sky suite for 10 days this spring and have been really curious about the noise levels on the balconies. So thanks again!

We asked the Entertainment Director if the DJ could use a little less volume as we could hear him inside the suite. That was sorted ok. As for outside we sat at the back in the main and didn’t really notice any noise.

Oh one more question if you don't mind - the Enclave. Is that one complimentary access per person in the Sky Suite or do we get to go to it anytime during the cruise? I think that's my last one. Thanks! 🙂

Access is free as often as you wish to go

Thank you so much for posting your experience with the Sky Suite! We are going later this year in this suite on the Sky Princess.

I did read another blogger's experience that when you flash your special white medallion, you get VIP treatment throughout the ship. It tells the staff you are a Sky Suite guest. But they didn't mention about the bars. I don't think they were the bar type.

I have some questions if you don't mind - I have a bit of comprehension disability and what they posted on the Princess Sky Suite benefits page does not always seem clear to me.

The ultimate balcony breakfast/dining states it is complimentary to Sky Suite - is this just once during the whole cruise or all the time? If I wanted this dinner every night would only one time be free? Same with afternoon tea. (not that I could eat lobster and/or steak every night - haha!)

And here's a really silly question but I'm curious - that photo of the succulent plants on the balcony dining table you posted... are they real or fake? I am a huge fan of succulents (part of my hobby) and knowing we get live ones in our suite is such a bonus for me!

I can't wait to see the Rock Opera in our reserved Princess Theater seating! We'll be in the Caribbean on our cruise so hopefully, if weather permits, we'll take advantage of our complimentary Princess Cay private bungalow.

    Thank you!

    Taking your questions in turn

You get one free balcony dinner and one free balcony breakfast and trust me yiu simply couldn’t eat like that every day even if they gave it to you 😀

Afternoon tea, you can order as often as you like

the plants outside are all fake as is all the greenery. I think the plants inside are real but didn’t pay too much attention to them

Both Rock Opera and 5 Skies are amazing and Princess Cays is great and we hope to be back there in 2024 once we start flying again post covid and allowing enough time for the airlines and infrastructure to be back to pre pandemic levels

I believe the Sky Suites have their own speaker system connected on the outside deck.  You can control the volume on these speakers

They don’t on Sky Princess, but as my previous posts we didn’t find MUTS to be an issue when relaxing on the sky suite balcony

  6. We had just left Skagen in Denmark when we had our balcony dinner and later moved into the suite for dessert as it became chilly. The team were slick in moving us in and it was still wonderful as you’d expect.

The fridges are standard Princess fridges and the contents were cold after a few hours, but you do get an ice bucket every day that can be utilised for quick chilling.

  7. The sound from MUTS was not a problem at all, in fact, the Entertainment Director specifically asked us if the new movies and events were an issue for us in the suite.

We advised that the DJ on sail away was too loud as we could hear him in the suite for about 2 hours and they thanked us and said it would be sorted.

At the rear of the balcony where there are loungers and the clamshell we were able to have conversations without any noticeable noise from the front of the ship and even when we had our balcony dinner and afternoon tea at the front of the balcony, we were able to converse at normal levels without MUTS being any sort of a problem.

I was able to take in the ocean without ever feeling that it was a noisy environment and was never distracted apart from sail away, which as I say, was sorted.

  8. We were sent the SEM contact details by the pre cruise concierge and then we set up on WhatsApp pre cruise and introduced ourselves. Once at Southampton, we messaged and were met with our luggage that was immediately taken from us to go to the suite. The SEM then escorted us to a desk to verify all Covid documentation and then to a desk to collect our Medallion before taking us through expedited security and on to the ship. The suite was still being made up so we had about a 45 min wait which was fine.

In discussion with the pre cruise concierge we swapped our Elite mini bar perk out for coffee packages as we had discussed what would be our choices for the daily mini bar replenishments. I would assume that you will do likewise when discussing with the pre cruise concierge.

if you have any special events, then mention them to the pre cruise concierge as Princess like to make those days special when on board and choose a nice sunny port for the balcony dinner as it’s just superb!

    Enjoy when you get onboard😀

  9. The girls went to the Enclave and loved it. Quiet On a port day and they were in there for about 3 hours 😀

I sneaked out the back door to a hot tub and pool taking a Lagunitas IPA with me…..

Great memories and trust me, your Suite Experience Host, is the best!!

  10. Our party of 4 stayed in S309 last week on the Scandinavia cruise and the majority of the information given is absolutely correct. In addition to what has been mentioned, our mini bars were restocked daily with our choice of beverages both beer and soft drinks. We were all also given a coffee package for use at International Cafe. The suite comes with free access to the Concierge Lounge where every evening drinks and canapés are complimentary.

We were contacted about 5 weeks out by the pre cruise concierge service as already mentioned and special events were taken care of onboard which was lovely. Our Suite Experience Manager was superb taking care of us from the moment we dropped our car at CPS Parking all the way through to escorting us and our luggage with his team from the ship back to our car upon disembarking the ship.

We ate in the Estrella dining room club class on 3 occasions and on 3 nights ate at Crown Grill, Sabbatini’s and on our balcony for the balcony dinner experience, all of which were excellent.
We also had a full afternoon tea served on the balcony which was delicious and why there was no evening meal required that day😀

The whole experience was a once in a lifetime celebration for us of many major milestones and the suite is simply stunning and so comfortable and the balcony is a joy on sunny days to lounge around upon high quality furniture including a large clam shell sofa. At the rear of the suite, there is a coded door giving access to little used hot tubs and a pool on deck 17.

If your friends can afford the upgrade, then I would take it as the experience is unlike no other on Princess.
