When did you book Tuscan.  Prior to 4/22 the price included a gratuity.  On 4/22 the increased prices by 18%.  For some unknown reason on some ships the price was increased by 18%.  Tuscan previously was $45.  Now depending upon the ship the price in the Cruise Planner could still be $45 and at check-out they add a 18% gratuity

or the price in the Cruise Planner could be $53.10 and no gratuity add at check out.

Yes booked it a while ago before price increases.  Reserved it for dinner on first night of cruise which was discounted to $35 pp

  2. Hello everyone,  I have the Tuscan Grille reserved for my upcoming cruise on Summit in June, my question is do you tip at restaurant or is it covered by the “always included” I have already paid for.  Doesn’t matter either way, just want to make sure I do things right as this will be my first cruise ever.  Also, is my premium drink package accepted there.  TIA for your advice.

  3. IMO this is definitely a money grab.  If Bermuda is the first stop on a Cruise and cruise is sailing with fully vaccinated and tested passengers there is no reason to have to submit and pay $40 for form.  I would understand if there were other stops before Bermuda, and passengers disembarked at other ports, risking getting virus in those location, but for those making Bermuda their first and only stop like myself, there should be no need for this form.  And for those who argue that Bermuda can use the money, every country can use the money, that’s no excuse.  We can all use the money, we have all been hit hard financially by this pandemic.

  4. I’ll hopefully be a first time cruiser in June 2022, and just upgraded my classic beverage package online with Celebrity yesterday.  For $12 more per day, and considering what’s included, it’s worth it to me even if I don’t break even.  To be able to drink most of what they offer without having to anticipate extra charges at end of cruise gives me peace of mind to enjoy my vacation without worrying about it.  Martini Bar, here I come. 🤣

  5. I will hopefully be a first time cruiser in 2022 and though have tried to find specific info on specialty dining I have not found the answer to my question.  How do you order at a specialty dining restaurant on a Celebrity Summit ship?  Is it like the MDR where you can order anything you want for the set price or can you only order one of each category, appetizer, main course, dessert?  Your reply and any advice for a first time cruiser will be greatly appreciated.
