A TA quoted Price based on Specific category&cabin in the body of an email. I intent on transferring the booking, however, now he is trying to back aqmway from the quote. Then states; he "still needs booking transferred to know the actual price." IF I transfer to him and he increases his price, how difficult is it to transfer AWAY from him? I booked my next HAL cruise while still on a cruise. I understand I can shop for the best deal from a TA and have the booking transferred to the TA with the best deal. What prevents me from continuing to shop it? If I transfer to an TA, then find a better deal later, can I have the booking transferred again from the 1st TA to the later TA? When does this window stop? Up till first payment? (Deposit was only $2 dollars)

How can I find a good TA? My last TA does NOTHING for me after he gets the deal, and is Always on vacation when I call!

Right, but Agent has lower price for the same category. HAL will still honor their OBC,etc??

Then If I book with the FCC (future cruise consultant) on the cruise, (future cruise OBC is $350.) If I then get a better deal thru a TA, do they transfer the booking to the TA and would I still get the $350 OBC and the same cabin if I want it?

I am currently on a HOLLAND American line cruise. They offer an OBC credit if you book a future cruise before the current cruise is over. I would like to know if this OBC can still be obtained even if I use my personal agent for my booking?
