Always enjoy your reviews and Patti's pictures. Hope her upcoming surgery brings much improvement. I had that same cabin steward on a cruise, although I haven't been on Vista since before Covid.

Can you ask your cabin steward for paper copies of the Cruise Compass - or still get one somewhere on the ship? I really prefer a hard copy if I can get one. Thanks!
Yes, your cabin steward should have paper copies available. I was on the Symphony Transatlantic, and he left one each evening after I asked.

Jeff and Patti,
Thank you so much for another very entertaining and informative review! I cannot imagine how many hours you put into these, but I'll be looking forward to the next one 👏.
What was your favorite port from these two cruises?

I've ALWAYS had ice placed in the cabin by the cabin attendant when the room is serviced ( twice a day).

Me too. They have even put the bucket in the refrigerator so it lasts longer!

It would be convenient, but with the habits of the general public, I think it would be messy and I would question how sanitary it would be.

Both very valid points.

You can get ice at various locations all day. (Dining room, any bar, WJ, ). We hope to have morning service but if ice is melted in the evening will just bring the ice bucket to dinner and ask for a refill.

It would be so much easier if passengers who want/need ice could access an ice machine on each deck. I'd gladly fill my own bucket.

I actually prefer once a day and have no problem using a towel more than once, particularly face towels.

laurieal, I am enjoying your review. The virtual balcony looks an option to save money versus the real thing. How do you like it? Would you book it again? Thank you.

I had one on Harmony last fall and never got another one. It wasn't anything special. Maybe my disappointment was because I've had the real thing at a restaurant.

Jamman,
Your review and Patti's pictures are just wonderful, and I've really enjoyed following along.
A bit off topic question: Did Patti get the new Canon SX740 HS camera yet? If so, how does she like it? I'm thinking about buying that same camera.

@lauriealThank you so much for the comprehensive and very entertaining review. I really enjoyed reading all about Wonder and your trip. It let me relive a little bit of last year's TA on Harmony. Looking forward to hopefully another one of your reviews!

Not always true. We were on the Harmony WB transatlantic in 2016. I worked the whole trip and never had any issues.I agree. We were on Harmony TA in November and there was only one short internet outage when they were switching networks.

HolySpearit, I have enjoyed reading your review! I sailed on the Mardi Gras in mid-February. Same itinerary except we got to San Juan. I'm a native Minnesotan so can relate to that too. Thanks for taking the time to do this.

Just want to add in order to enter Grand Turk you must walk through the Duty Free shop located at the end of the pier. On this day they had guards standing in front of the Duty Free shop and if you did not have a mask on they would not allow you to enter. There were tons of people (myself included) who made the U-turn back to the ship to get masks. Fortunately for me, just prior to walking up the gangway, I ran into a very kind lady who overheard me talking to my daughter. She opened up her purse and displayed a rather large box of masks and asked me how many I needed!! I thanked her profusely. Moral of the story, in current times, never leave the ship without possessing a mask.
I was on Mardi Gras in mid-February, and we also stopped at Grand Turk. While sitting in the plaza by the Duty Free shop, I saw the guard actually chasing people down to put on masks. They took their job SO seriously 😃
