We have an upcoming cruise that will make a stop in Porto Grande, Cape Verdel. We like to get off the ship and explore the cities / town on our own.  If anyone has been here recently can you tell me if the city center is within walking distance of the cruise terminal and is it safe to walk to and around the city on or own.
