Always cash. Bring it with you.

    Don't forget:

NCL: Certain staff positions (e.g., concierge, butler, youth program staff and beverage service) provide service on an individual basis to only some guests and do not benefit from the overall service charge. We encourage those Guests to acknowledge good service from these staff members with appropriate gratuities.

Yes, Want top be prepared. just don't like to travel with a wallet full of bills....Wanted to know all of our options

  2. Haven Butler gratuities question. Do you tip with cash? Do you travel with cash or get it onboard or use the onboard account? This is our first time as Haven guests and have not had to worry about this in the past....I do not like the idea of traveling with a large amount of cash in our pockets...

On your average overbooked 2024 cruise - how many folks will be competing for those 8 bar stools in the Haven bar?

Put a more generalized way - how many guests are generally in the Haven on any particular cruise - [-I know I know, it differs from cruise to cruise, YMMV, may have more or fewer kids etc etc etc]

Are you booked in the Haven? DH & I are sailing on the Prima in the Haven at the end of the month. I will report back later...

Any type of refillable water bottle. We tend to not take our best ones because we have a bad habit of leaving them behind for some reason. So will bring the cheapo ones hubby gets for free at work, or ones that are a bit rattier and we wouldn't mind leaving behind in the trash when done with it. Depending on the trip though we bring the good one if we know we'll be out for long hours on excursions as it will stay cold all day.

The nice one we have is a Hydro Cell - $20 on Amazon, so not even that nice in the grand scheme of overpriced fancy water bottles these days. Keeps cold stuff cold for hours without sweating and comes in lots of pretty colors.

Thank you. I am like you all, do not want to take the Yeti or the Stanley containers.....

  5. I should have specified  departing from Seattle. Thank you all for your replies. This is our first cruise in about 10 years. So excited. Can not wait to walk the gang plank to board ship. However, I will say that I will miss that "Ding" when we had to insert our room card...... Happy Sailing to you all!
