Yes, we are indeed on the same Cunard cruise. I too have several P&O cruises booked for later this year and right through next year. I did have a November Britannia cruise booked which I eventually moved to 30 December 2022 because of the stress and worry over the tests with no information forthcoming.  It was a great relief to be truthful.  The Cunard one I have hung on to in the hope the information I require will be available very soon.  The costings appearing on both websites for the tests have been some comfort for me.  As the Cunard cruise does not involve flights it has been relatively easy to work out an approximate cost for tests which has always been my main worry.  My one remaining doubt is the published protocol only runs to 31 December and we leave two weeks later, but hopefully we will be kept informed once balances are paid.

The P&O fly cruise just became too complicated for me, particularly as there were so many island destinations involved. It didn't feel much like a holiday constantly having swabs up my nose!

Regarding St Lucia there haven't been any excursions showing apart from disabled options from the beginning.

My agent is extremely good and completely understood the problems about protocols.  I'm sorry you have been "fined", that seems a bit strong considering card payments are almost instant. I would at least question that one if I were you.

Good luck, hopefully I might meet you onboard!

Hi, I'm on the same Cruise as well.  Let's hope things become clearer with regard to organised excursions only.

I am on the Brittania transatlantic cruise 22nd October and balance was requested 12 weeks prior. There will be no reduction to 30 days terms. With regard to testing, My grandchild aged 11 needs a PCR before embarkation and P&O say this will be complimentary. However, they will not say where or when this will be done since they are still sorting out arrangements. Disembarking at ports of call will only be allowed if on an official P&O excursion. Again however, they are in the process of arranging for passengers to be able to get off the ship for some kind of Port visit under their own volition but dont give any more details. I think P&O are hoping to be able to do LFT`s at each port rather than PCR`s. So far, with regard to needing PCR testing before entering any Island port - P&O have remained silent. I am concerned that passengers may find themselves having to remain on the ship due to the cost of umpteen PCR tests plus possible hours spent in testing queues. Port excursions are available to book now but there is still no mention of any required testing beforehand. Come on P&O lets have some clarification of the situation.

Hi I'm on the same cruise and can't find any information either.  I'd rather not go on booked excursions at every stop just to get off the ship.

The Premier Inn at West quay is always well patronised by cruisers.  No facility to leave the car there though.  They will assist with taxis.

There are so many in the area that it is hard to choose.  We are going to The Dolphin this time.

Hi I'm staying at the Dolphin at the end of October?  Is the Hotel nice and how far is it from the port?  I can't walk too far (especially with a case) and wondered if I'd need a taxi.  Thanks
