It’s about £70 from what I’ve seen can stay til 2/3 pm and you put your luggage with them the night before you have seperate tags I believe

Last november we used stay awhile on Enchantment in Barcelona but we couldn't stay longer than 12 if I remember correctly. We got some funny looks from the people boarding while we were dragging our luggage of the ship...

I know it’s hard 🤣🤣🤣 but try booking a ship that’s maybe five years or older I promise you you won’t be disappointed

But, but but... It's not fair..😂

I want to go on Icon, on Christmas or NYE week, stay in a suite, have the unlimited drink package, the dining package AND  rent an over water Cabana on Coco Cay for my standard cruise budget of $1000 per person/cruise. Why doesn't Royal accomodate my wishes or want my business...? Bad business, they will probably go bancrupt if they continue like this...🤪😎😂

  3. Did it last year in Barcelona when we had a 2 pm flight.  Well worth the money. Had to be off the ship at 11 or 12 at the latest, don't remember exactly.

We got funny looks from all people boarding when we were dragging our luggage of the ship. I even joked wit some of them and said that they are kicking us off the ship before the cruise even started...

Why don't they include taxes and fees in the cost of the cruise rather than tack them on at the last?

This I also find funny and strange from a European perspective. To say you can get the drink package for $60 + 18% tax is strange, just as paying $9 for a beer+ 18% tax is strange IMHO when no one can get it for that price. All need to pay $70.8for the drink package or $10.62 for the beer. Why say a lesser price then when that is not the actual cost?

I see the point in knowing how much is tax and what is the price but when saying how much it costs or I paid for it it is pointless to point out the tax since tax is required and not volontary.

Same as in goin to a hotel in Las Vegas and saying that a the room cost $70 when it costs $70+ tax+ $50 resort fee + tax = lots more than $130 in total. It is actually a bit missleading IMO.

Now I am used to most discussions on Cruise or Vegas forums are US based but it doesn't really make sense to me.

On some ships (the Anthem especially) we eat in the WJ. We have been on Anthem 2 times and never eaten in the MDR as the food in WJ is brilliant....and you can have any combination you want (eg curry and chips!). As Ashland says, you will be pleasently surprised!!

    Simon

Second that, specially on Anthem out of UK we have had better Indian food in Windjammer than in some land based Indian restaurants. Only ate once in MDR and it wasn't anything special.

So, I’m a bit offended and slightly upset at the fact that NOBODY told me getting a grand suite was the bomb-diggity!  First time grand suite-er here on Allure this week, people!!!  Let’s just say, I am no longer a “commoner” like most of you.  I am royalty and you all can kiss my feet.  From priority boarding, to the concierge hooking up every show we wanted last minute, to Coastal Kitchen being amaze-ing all week for breakfast and lunch, oh, and the included drinks and finger foods in the evening were sweeeeeet and our stateroom was gigantic!!!  Nightly pillow treats, we weren’t bothered by turning in swim towels, and had amazing seats at the shows. When we are home next week I look forward to calling my new concierge and ensuring they get me into all the sold out places around my town, because I am now royalty and shall not be bothered by lines and let downs.  I expect they’ll still take my calls.

Craaaaaaap! All my future cruises will now cost me 10x the amount, greeeeeeaaaaaaat!

Don't forget to laugh condescendingly to the poor Pinnacles and Signatures that can't get access to Costal Kitchen, remind them that your a more valued cruiser than they are, atleast on this cruise regardless of their status. Tell them also that you have made suggestions to Royal that Suite lounge and Costal Kitchen should always only be for suite guests and no one else 😉🤪😎

PS. This was a joke, so not everyone reports me...

Why does everything end up with "tip". Don't you think their suggested tipping amounts are high enough. How about RCL  accommodating cruisers without this suggestion of more tipping.

Who said that everything ends with a tip?  But I belive in rewarding crewmembers or staff if they go the extra mile and specially when they do something that is not expected or required of them.

Thank you we were hoping that they had one at the buffet that we could use, he is so picky about having everything at night being the same that is one of his things with autism.  He will just have another snack at night.

Bring the popcorn, doesn't take much space. Tip one of the crew in Windjammer and I am sure that they  can use some microwave in the kitchen not available for the guests. You have nothing to loose by asking 🙂

I live in Europe, but book my entire families cruise together (they are all in the United States). My European address shows up on the booking - but I get the US price. I have done this via phone with the US number (partially because we travel with my sister's service dog). We've not had any issues at all, anywhere.

I can get the US price online aswell, but when trying to make a reservation I haven't gotten further than what US state to put in and since I don't live in the US I never went further. Maybe it will be easier if calling.

I can see that some cruises such as Transatlantics are almost the same price, but European cruises differ very much in price and is always much more expensive to book for Europeans than from the Usa. Would be interesting to know if it is the same price for Canadians and US market for the same cruise?

Any US address will do! No problem! You are way overthinking this! But remember booking in the US means you give up your consumer rights!

We have good friends that live in Florida so I might try to put my name on their adress when booking. Will be interesting to see if it works out. Consumer rights are good to a certain degree, but not if I need to pay $1200 more...

Yeah! You are forced to prepay gratuities when booking MTD on UK bookings (rirespective of where the cruise may depart from) whereas this is not the case in the USA!

You can get price drops in the USA whereas in the UK you have to cancel and rebook or just suck it up!

Some insurance companies (apparently) do not cover you if you are not booked via UK agencies however I have never found that.

LB - 13/14 future bookings made via USA

You are correct that tips are prepaid and not optional when booking from Europe but they are specified and I actually removed them when I made my comparison, otherwise it would have been almost $250 more. I also belive we have a very little bit more protection such as possibility to cancel and get our slightly lower (about $400 instead of I belive $500 in the US)  reservation fee back. As far as I know we can't book non refundable cruises here but we also miss out on the matching price if the cruise price becomes lower.

But regardless, if the same cruise, same cabin is $1200 cheaper I am going to hunt for an American travel agency that accepts European customers alternativly give Club Royale a call and see what price I get there.

  12. I am looking at a 7 day cruise on July the 6th 2025 out of Barcelona on Allure for a Western Mediterranean cruise and notice that there is a huge price difference if I look at the cruise from Royals US side compared to their European one.

If I book this cruise from the EU site they want $3759 for an interior GTY but if I book it from the US site it only costs $2519. Of course Royal makes it hard for us Europeans to do that since we need to fill in a US state to be able to book and then it doesn't match the adress they have on file but I am wondering if I call the Club Royale can I book this cruise through their casino numbers and get the US price regardless if I have a casino offer?

I have read somewhere that it is possible to book through Club Royale regardless if one have any current offer. Club Royale uses US pricing regardless of where the customer is I belive. The other option is going through a US travel agency I suppose.

Have any other Europeans done this successfully? I refuse to pay almost $4000 for an interior GTY on Allure...

If you don’t have the cash to pay the balances when the bill arrives, don’t use your card.

This is a very simple but valid point. But people want things NOW, not save for it later,  be it a car, a cruise or some other material thing. That is why 8 of 10 persons buy things on credit, not to get points or cashback (even if 100% claims that)

  14. There are healthy options everywhere but it takes some motivation to choose them.. my wife ate oatmeal and fruit every morning while I ate egg and bagels. She often choose fish and fresh or roasted vegetables for lunch and dinner and skipping the rice or potatoes while I ate meat and rice, I also love Indian food but tried to eat more chicken and lamb than pork or beef. One of us gained 5 kilo (11 pounds?) and one didn't, guess who did? 😂😂😂

  15. Many people complain about "watered down" drinks and that they don't get their normal buzz but I think that has more to do with the facts that many people eat like they have never seen food before (just look at some people filling a whole plate with bacon, eggs and other fat foods) which is perfect if you want to be able to drink much without getting drunk or getting a hangover but not so if you want to get a buzz. Also many drinks are like a shot of alcohol with 800 calories of sugar, drink 5 of them during 4 hours and you will not feel a buzz due to all the other energy consumed. Water it down with some lightbeer of 4% alcohol and its a recepie for not feeling drunk..

Drink 7% Ipa:s and shots of Jack Daniels instead of frozen drinks at the pool in the sun and don't eat  more than normally done at home and I guarantee that most people except those with very high tolerance will be just as drunk as when home... 🤪

    As a shareholder I salute you! 😉

Se it this way, YOU have helped RCL stock to rally incredible 114% this year, yesterday it closed at $105.81  😉
