I was wondering the same thing! I'm interested in this as well.
-
For those who have seen the show, is this something that would entertain and keep interest of a 3 yr old? Anyone bring their little one to the show? Wondering if this would be a waste of money and a distraction for others. Appreciate it.

Thanks everyone. When I looked online I didn't see 100% resinbursed my for some reason. I just got off the phone with a rep and they were so helpful! They found me a policy which was $200 cheaper than what NCL was offering me!! Amazing!! Thank you all!!!

Hi. I am def doing the trip insurance, that is not the question. I have used it in the past. And for personal reasons, I may never know if I would have to use it again.
That being said I have always assumed to use the insurance provided to me. In this case, through NCL. After reading the posts, I have started researching insuremytrip.com. Do any of those policies offer 100% resinbursed trip cancellation? I don't see that option.
Also, any recommendations as to which insurer you all used?
Thank you for the advice. I only hve a day or two left to make the switch!

Hello! I'm going in mid June with two little ones. Each day we will first go to the beach, and then what other activities are there on the island that you may recommend?
Thank you!
-
I meant in all seriousness
-
I'm a seriousness. If your child is going to swim for a few hours in the pool, which most kids do, there are no chairs for the adults to sit, and watch? I don't understand this set up
-
So this is a picture of the kids pool? Where are the chairs?

Most Bermuda beaches aren't heavily developed. Basically sand and water and rocks. All beautiful! Some, including Horseshoe Bay, have food/beverages/bathrooms/umbrella rentals/etc., but many are more or less undeveloped.
Snorkel Park, which is very close to the cruise ship dock, is the only one I can think of that sounds like what you're looking for.

There's also Blue Hole Water Sports, but I've no personal experience with them.
Thank you both for your help.
-
For example. Water sports/ water trampoline. Beach bars. Thanks!

Going on Breakaway instead a few weeks later. ;)

We are on starboard side. Hmm wondering if we should switch sides now incase it would be difficult to get a spot on deck? What are your thoughts?
-
also, what's the best shows for little ones? can they be reserved ahead of time?
-
Great thread!! What day is the fireworks? What is the best location to view them and what time should we get there to get a good spot?
Also, can you please share more info on the martini / margarita tasting?
Lastly, seating at the pool- we would have to grab a chair near the children’s pool, bc we have two little ones… where is this in relation to the live band and entertainment?
Thanks, so excited!!
-
I'm pretty sure you can switch since the promotion is still going on.
-
Let’s take a survey… what are you doing- UBP or UDP and who are you cruising with?
UDP (although thinking about switching to UBP). Cruising with Husband and 3 and 6 year old.
-
does the boat usually dock on one side vs the other? Or is it random? Any personal experiences are appreciated. Thanks!

Let me rephrase. Which would be a better category? A M2 or a M6 guaranteed? Thank you! Not sure which would be a better choice and NCL sucks at helping. They are really misinformed and misguided.
-
Ok so now what if the M6 is listed as a guaranteed category? What is the the difference in categories at this point?
-
Can anyone please explain to me the difference in categories of mini-suites – from M2- M-6, if they all seem to be guaranteed at this point? I do not feel the rep at NCL is clear, even after I explain other than the family suite, I do not know what the others stand for.
thank you :)

Has anyone ever stayed in an angeled balcony before? I have a room on the breakaway 9136. Any idea what that means? View. Cabin layout. Balcony layout. Etc. Thank you
-
can someone please explain their personal experiences with them? I have a mini-suite large balcony, what is the likelihood I would get a large balcony? it seems everyone in NCl is misinformed, bc each time I call they all give me different information!!
thank you
-
it's the same price just about... we have an aft mini suite booked on the gem. and a mini suite on hold on the breakaway. it comes out to the same price. to be honest I am sad we wouldn't have the large balcony:( but I would rather give up a bigger balcony for better weather.
I understand the first day would be chilly, I am more concerned about day 2 at sea, would that be warm? and would be very upset to say the least, to spend all this money to have cold weather. I am on a budget, and so that is why I am booking May/ June cruises.
as far as ports, not in love with port carnavel, but would do like bahamas. I've heard mixed reviews about Breakaway being too big, not enough space, balconies in the cabins too small, etc. but Bermuda does sound lovely.
-
Would like to take my family (two children under 5) away this summer... and torn. Gem from NY to Bahamas in May, or Breakaway from NY to Bermuda in June.
Gem-
Major concern would be weather at sea from NY in May, would it be too cool that first day at sea?
Breakaway-
Is the boat too packed? cabins too small?
Has anyone done both itineraries?
Best excursions for a family w a 3 and 6 yr old?
in Bermuda

We will def hit Horeshoe Beach bc I heard it's the prettiest! I'm not into history and so does anyone have some suggestions for the remaining day and a half? Should we do a snorkeling excursion? Are there any fun beaches w water activies? Any and all suggestions are welcome!
Thanks
