We are thinking of going on Splendor on Feb 6, inaugural sailing from Barcelona to Miami.  We're worried about the 

weather and the seas that time of year.  Don't want to get seasick.  Does anyone have any information that would

be helpful in making our decision?

This ship looks magnificent. and we want to go on her, but are a little scared.

We want to take the Bavaria to Budapest cruise next summer on Viking.

The question is whether there is an advantage/disadvantage to go from Nuremberg to Budapest, or from Budapest to Nuremberg. We wonder about

the river speed, or winds or anything that may make one direction more pleasing than the other.

Does anyone know if or when the Caribbean Princess is due for dry dock and refurbish? The last one was 2011, and it seem like it might be time.

We are thinking of doing Canada/New England on her in 2016 and are hoping she'll be new and clean.

We will be in Southampton for one whole day while our ship takes on more passengers on the way to New York. We are thinking of going to Winchester or Salisbury, or Windsor Castle. Think we will only have time to do one. Any ideas or advice about what we should plan for an enjoyable and informative day would be appreciated. This will be in June. I understand there is a train close to the ship dock that we could catch.

We will be boarding QM2 in Hamburg in june, and will have a whole day in Southampton while she takes on more passengers for a crossing. We are looking for ideas on how to best spend that day. We are not particularly interested in seeing Stonehenge again, but are thinking maybe Winchester, Windsor Castle or Salisbury. Don't know how far away any are from the cruise terminal. Any help would be appreciated.

Somewhere on this board I read that a previous Seabourn cruiser can request

a referral OBC of $400 for new cruisers to Seabourn. We have friends who just completed an New Zealand cruise on Odyssey, and we asked them to request this for us. They are very happy to do it, but don't know exactly what the process is. Can any of you help out with this for us? We appreciate your input.

We will be on QM2 on June 22 sailing out of Hamburg, and notice that one of the formal nights is a masquerade ball. What does this mean? Will people really come in costumes, or just masks, or will it just be the staff that are

masquerading?

We will be on the Riveria on Feb. 22 Miami RT. Never have been on her, and wonder does she have plenty of outlets for curlers, hairdryer, iPad, phones, etc. Usually I bring a power cord with 5 plugs on it, but don't want to if I won't need it. Help!

We are sailing on Riveria in a few weeks and want to know what is Oceanias policy about bringing liquor and or wine on board when embarking.

Does anyone know what time the evening shows on Riveria usually are scheduled for? I am getting ready to make reservations for specialty restaurants, and don't want to miss the show because of dinner. We like to eat around 7:30 or 8:00, but that may mean we would miss both the early and the late show, if indeed they do two. Please help!

Which cabins on 7 that have the extended balcony have the "tunnel effect"?

How do you tell on the deck plan? I would like to have the larger balcony but don't think I'll like "tunnel effect". Thanks

What is a B3 Extended balcony? I'm new to Oceania, and may want to try and snag one of these. We do love a nice balcony. By the way, is this on Riveria or Marina? How do you find them on the deck plan? Please any information would be most helpful.
