Has anyone been been in the steam room and / or sauna on RCL Harmony of the Seas?  I've only found one website that has a picture of what each looks like on the inside and they don't look as big as what I was used to using on Liberty of the Seas.

Royal Caribbean Oasis class ships don’t have any free saunas or steam rooms. The photo you saw is the thermal suite steam room. It’s co-ed and you have to pay for a thermal suite pass to use it.

As anyone paid for the Persian Garden on the Celebrity S Class ships? I will be sailing the Eclipse in July....and it looks like just a semi circle of heated loungers? Is that it???

Yes, it’s a bunch of heated loungers that overlook the ocean as well as a steam room, sauna and some rainfall showers.

On the S Class you’re better off just sticking to the free single sex sauna in the changing room.

    hi all!

Thinking about sailing the Celebrity Eclipse when it sails out of Cape Liberty Bayonne summer of 2024. I checked the list and it says there is a small free sauna. Yay! Has anyone been on the Eclipse this year to confirm/update that? [There is no verification date on the sheet]  Thanks!

Yes it does, it’s the same as the other Celebrity S class ships. Small interior sauna in the men’s changing room near the spa. Lockers and three showers also. Enjoy!

  4. Just posted photos above from webinar.

Overall theme I'm hearing is that Hideaway Beach will be very much a "party" atmosphere.  They emphasized the word "party" a LOT.  The DJ will be right there pool side (I forgot to grab a screen shot of that slide).  This is going to be a loud party atmosphere, they made that clear.  They even compared it to a Las Vegas Pool Club experience.

    The pool will be heated.

Age is 18+ to get in.

Fees for Hideaway Beach will lower than Coco Beach Club.

Adventure, Explorer, Independence, Liberty or Mariner.

Yes, all of these ships are still fully intact and have not had the free saunas/steam rooms removed.

As for Radiance class ships, I think only Brilliance may have had some changes to the spa area so I can’t confirm. But Jewel, Radiance, Serenade are all still the same with their great setup.

I just  messaged Royal asking about the free suana on Royal  carribean Adventure, & Explorer of the sea and was told it was not available
Is this info correct,  I've not heard its been removed?

Bad info. Adventure and Explorer definitely have the free steam, sauna still. I would never trust these chat representatives to have accurate information.

Okay.....is Liberty of the Seas info on the sheet still up to date? Free and not co-ed...

Has anyone been on her this 2022 season? I am looking at May of 2023....no dry dock scheduled....

    Howard

Yes Liberty has not been amplified yet, so it still has full steam and sauna in the men’s locker room. Free and not co-ed.

I am going on Liberty next week, can’t wait!

Oooooo have an amazing time!! Let me know what it’s like and if you can sneak any pics of the sauna and steam room lay out, that would be amazing. I’m super excited.

Hoping all body types attend here as I’m definitely not Brad Pitt hahaha

Here are some pics of the area on Explorer of the Seas. Mariner would be the same also.

Has anyone been on the Koningsdam recently? Is the men's sauna functioning? I'm asking because last Thanksgiving both single-sex free saunas with the big windows were closed the entire cruise because of a broken part. Doing that Mexico cruise again this Thanksgiving, so want to be sure it's available.

Had a friend go on Koningsdam back in January and yes the sauna was working fine then.

I am considering a cruise on the Grand Princess. Does anybody have some first-hand knowledge on how the Grand's sauna and steamrooms are laid out?

When I look at the Grand Princess deck plans, the sauna/steamroom seem to be a strange design, not very private, and appear to open out directly to a public deck...certainly not conducive to enjoying them "European Style"

I was on the Grand Princess a long time ago but yes I do recall that it just opens right out to the outside deck, so you’ll have to wear a bathing suit.
